Lodge Gathering #4

Okay, so it's not #4... in all actuality, the number is probably approaching double digits; and it also depends on the definition since if it's only a majority than the number is probably around 50 or 60 since 4 or more have been gathered quite a bit. But needless-to-say, the lack of participation in Lodge activities is lacking overall. And I'm not going to name names... but one ComiCon fan hasn't been spotted since his ill-fated NFL Fantasy Draft.

The gathering will be the 3rd Will Ferrell movie that the Lodge has seen together, the last of which Goose hooked the Lodge up with sneak preview action to Talladega Nights (thanks to Mother Goose's Nextel Employer's questionable sponsorship of NASCAR). The movie times are listed below for the downtown theaters (which would be preferable for 2.0, since I'll be taking the bus to the movie) showing our feature presentation. Please vote for the showing you'd most like to see. I vote for the 1:25PM show, so we can grab a drink afterwards, ala Rocky Balboa. Although this time, I'm not buying shots.

  4. I'm at the G&D from noon-2 on Saturday watching the Devils game...I might be down for a show later on...but, I think it needs to be mentioned that there are two high-octane NCAA Bball games that might deem a Lodge gathering extension...

I'm down, except from noon to 2...

  5. Joe. since I'll be driving into Seattle anyway, I can swing over and pick you up.

MCP did attend the "Mother of all super bowl Parties VII". Only Dukes mysterious "no show" kept it from being a full Lodge House

  7. Okay, so I forgot about the SB Gathering. I'll throw Casey a bone for that one. And he'll like it!

As far as the NCAA's... the games start at 3PM -- so we'd catch the 2nd half of the first game at Fox Sports Grill:

3:07 p.m. Men, NCAA Final Four, Georgetown vs. Ohio St.

5:47 p.m. Men, NCAA Final Four, Florida vs. UCLA

  8. How about I meet up with you guys after the film?...that way we can get official Lodge Gathering Status...

2.0 don't tell me you're not watching the games...

  9. Oh, I'll be watching. There is a lot of money riding on it. But seriously, I don't mind missing Billy Packer's sh!te filled intro's and being late for a funny movie.

It looks like 1:25 PM is a winner. See ya'll there... or at least at the Grill afterwards. Goose, I'll email you my address.

  12. Hey, Goose I just had lunch with your RJ here in the PEMCO cafe.

Looks like he's on a date with my X-wife...

He and I talked some star wars at some grilled cheese. Good times were had all around.

  16. Train, are you in for tomorrow?

Also, why Sushi over Mexican on the Birthday Bash Evite? Confusing choice. Especially since it's not a good Sushi joint.

As for Veggietales... not a new obsession. I've loved them since they were only DVD releases back in the late 90's. Seriously funny stuff. Just check out this classic song by Larry the Cucumber: I Love My Lips. Anytime there is random Sonny Bono cameos, I'm for it.
