Inevitable

The news isn't much of a shocker considering the Mariners are the worst team in MLB by a few games. What's more shocking is how long it took for Bavasi to get shown the door. And how come Howard Lincoln still is with the club? Does he have naked photos of the Nintendo President strangling a dead hooker Rising Sun style?

Maybe the Mariners will shell out 50 million for Yu Darvish and see if 3 Ace's on a team will help us before going out and getting a big bat that needed in the lineup everyday. Frustrating to say the least. At least MLS is coming next spring!

Thank you Goose. I spent my weekend getting 'tanked' hard and watching gang movies at SIFF. (The wife baked a cake too, I guess that was cool.)

Good Wesley Snipes drop. Maybe all the team really needs is willie mays hayes...

As a lifelong Seattleite, watching the demise of our sports teams has been like waiting to go crabbing at low tide off pier 54: pretty agonizing and pointless.

How was Triangle, Devo?

Triangle is probably the most interesting buddy/crime movie I've seen. Unlike Ocean's 11 this was a film of dark humor and slow to develop. I'm glad I saw it at Cinerama.

The plot starts off extremely dramatic, serious, and complicated - Backstabbing plot potentials galore. Conversely, the ending was as odd as possible and completely satisfying. I laughed my ass off in joy.

Expect a less creative version of this film in the U.S. within 5 years. I will probably buy it and watch it for nostalgia in the future.
