Hasty decision
Looks like there is word coming out of Mont lake that the UW might get some playing time to our very own J.R. Hasty, he is making some plays in practice that are catching the eyes of Willingham. Hey and it is not like they don’t need an injection of youth and talent (yeah, he’s not an athlete his is a football player). But then again we knew the kid was going on to bigger and better things when he was only 12. I still remember the look on those kids faces in the one on one tackling drills when they knew they were going to have to go up against Hasty. I call it the Hasty Face. I hope to see that face a lot from opposing players in the upcoming seasons.

I can say that from the four games I've watched in person this season...the kid is always looking to get on the field...He has an intangible element about him, and I think he's looking at possibly #3 on the depth chart right now, with Sampson leaving the program...that being said...does this help your program down the road or does losing this year hurt you? I'd like to think that if he makes a statement and we have our RB for the next couple of years we're better off, but I'm going to need a lot of convincing that he's the better RB right now over Rankin and James, which is not say that he couldn't be by the end of the season....
is he redshirting this year? if he is -- they should definitely wait until next before playing him instead of wasting a year of eligibility on a wasted UW Husky Football season, a season whose hopes are mediocre at best.
Its like when Cris Collinsworth obstains from making a pick on Inside the NFL because he is calling the game....I will obstain from JR Hasty Commentary due to personal involvement.
honestly though, is the reason this team is 1-4 really based on the RB position? if it was then I could see a reason for it, but unless your adding 21 other guys to the starting squads let him sit and give him the go to be the man in spring ball...
