Speaking of Bond....did anyone read this story yesterday?
"Daniel Craig's two front teeth have been knocked out during the shooting of a first-fight scene for the forthcoming James Bond film Casino Royale, according to the Sunday Mirror. An extra apparently punched the actor in the face by mistake. 007 newbie Craig was apparently unshaken by the incident and will continue to film with a gum shield in place."
I watched Layer Cake over the weekend. Phenomenal movie. Same writer as Lock Stock and Snatch, but way more hard nosed and not as funny. But in a good way. I'm convinced that Daniel Craig has the chops to fill 007's shoes. Anybody else have any thoughts on that film or on Craig?
Nobody be hatin' on The Living Daylights.. It has Sala from Raiders and Joe Don Baker. That's a power duo right there.
Strange that Joe Don Baker then turned up in Goldeneye as a CIA agent.
Hmmm, Sean Bean and Christopher Lambert were up for the role of Bond. Connor McCloud would have been horrible and made the film even worse. I would have love to have seen Bean though. I'm a huge Bean Fan.
Clive Owen should have been Bond. Though I do like Craig as an actor. He is not my idea of bond but hopefully I will be wrong.
See, I think Julian McMahon would have been the best choice. He can deliver the comedic timing that a Bond needs, but still pull off the suave nature. Owen and Craig are tougher looking though.
Dude, usually I don't like being called out on trivia, but I feel like it really mattered, I probably would've looked it up...and between Craig, the AM and Eva Green from "Kingdom of Heaven"...they're going need Plenty O'Toole to get this thing off proper-like...
I thought Layer Cake was a great film (* why is Sienna Miller not signed on with Royale? additionally: why is she not in every film?)
...it didn't have the epic value of LS&2SB's...but, was did add a little rougher element and more crime-oriented not character-oriented, but I would probably disagree if I read the novel
oh yeah and here's your daily SAT analogy...LS&2SB is to Guy Ritchie as David Wooderson is to Matthew McConaughey

Jimbo...Grace Jones was in the last Roger Moore film...Timothy Dalton was in the following film...
Just shows with Craig getting his teeth knocked in..that this film is off to the wrong foot...

Julian is to much of a pretty boy. He is fine onf Nip/Tuck but he can't do Bond.
He sucked it big time in Fantastic Four.
