Ah, the tangled web we weave. Good but not great piece by Peter King in this morning's Monday Morning QB on Holmgren vs. NFL Officials. I've tried to block the SuperBowl officiating out of my mind for the most part. The Hawks look to be stacked and ready to make another run. So the Lodge can hold on to that hope of a return visit and final redemption. Man, the NFL season can't come fast enough, can it?

The thing I hate more than anything is that this is what the Hawks reputation is around the league...people don't really remember the game or the calls...just that we're a bunch of whining bitches who can't take it like a man...that's almost worse than getting blown out...Buffalo Bills-style...
at the end of the season, the one stat you can quantify is injuries and the ref's calls...you can plan for your roster to prepare for injuries...you can do nothing to prevent the refs...
I say lets move on and secure homefield again and keep big Mo' going...
