Early Morning Hawk Talk
The Seahawks have agreed to terms of a contract with first-round draft pick Kelly Jennings, according to several sources and reports.Jennings has arrived in Cheney for training camp this morning, where he is to sign his contract and likely be on the field for this afternoon's practice session.
The deal is believed to be worth a total of $9.5 million over five years, with $5 million in guaranteed money, according to FOXsports.com.
Jennings, a cornerback from Miami, missed the rookie workout Friday and both practices Saturday, as well as this morning's practice.
"I'm glad he's in and we're counting on him this year, so he's got to get going," coach Mike Holmgren said of Jennings.
The Black Lodge stated they were happy to have everyone in camp to focus on the season ahead.

All I know is that the week after next, I am attending TWO football games at Seahawks Stadium.....one Real Madrid and one Hawks/Cowboys.

and yes Duke, it was good to see your lady friend on a pleasant Alki morning...The Cafe Benedicts were flowing and delicous as usual...definitely in my top 5 foods of all time or desert island menu...
I am upset to be missing the opening preseason game. I have to say, no matter what the expectations are...the preseason games always suck and are worth at best up until halftime.
I am happy to see everyone in training camp. I am also excited to see Peterson...wearing "44" this year for the good guys. It's goin' to be a wild ride!!!
