Alright...we're talking about something else.

So it's Madden Day, which at least this lodge member is totally geeked about. So, here's muy discussion topic for the Lodge:

Favorite Football Video Games (And I don't mean Soccer)

Personally, I would have to go with Madden '04. That was the first Football game I REALLY got into. '05 was pretty much more of the same, but I was a little dissapointed with a '06. The whole quarterback sight thing was kind of lame. Luckily on the 07 edition it's now a feature you can toggle on or off (apparently a lot of people hated it)

As far as an old school choice, you just can't beat Tecmo Bowl. It was goofy, and really easy to cheat, but still good times.

And then there's crap like this (sorry Train, I had to do it):

I will be the first to admit that John Elway Football blew.

I was a huge fan of Super Tecmo Bowl.

The Super NES had a game which I cannot remember the name of.. I loved this game. It was one of the first to have NCAA teams with a very basic Dynasty mode complete with bowl games and national rankings. Very underrated game... so much that I can't remember the name.

F' you MCP...I played the hell out of Elway...My personal favorite outside of my first Madden in '92 was the original: 10 Yard Fight, which was preceeded by the very old skool Vibrating Football complete with easily breakable players modeled after the '87 SuperBowl...

My all-time personal record of 70 points in High School mode of TYF stands as the greatest VG accomplishment ever

My Favorite is Riddick Touchdown Spectacular: Serene Space Edition. This came out on Super Famicom only. It was too revolutionary for the U.S. to handle.

I never actually played John Elway football (although I remember the crazy ads for it they used to place in comic books), I just try to take full advantage of any opportunity to rag on the Broncos

Madden 91 and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Randall Cunningham and the Philly Defense. Made for an amazing video game team.

My greatest feat in Madden 91 was once gaining 1000 yds rushing and 1000 yards recieving with Gaston Green of the Broncos in the Same game.

For some reason they made him a stud...we all know the real truth

PS. For those of you checking the Lodge Box Scores....MCP threw another Lodge "No hitter" yesterday with a post so bad that no one comments on it.

MCP. I think that is your third No-No...Amazing.

You are quickly becoming the Nolan Ryan of Crap posts....

The biggest pain in my @$$ came from Madden '05. The St. Louis Rams had a screen pass that was literally impossible to block.

You could get rid of all of your linemen and sick them on receivers and they'd still be able to complete a pass for 7 yards.

I knew the post wouldn't get any love. Anytime you post something that can't be seen at work you know you're in for trouble.

...I still like the picture.
