First off let me say I’m sorry for my comments yesterday. After reading my remarks last night I saw how my humorous intent came off very poorly. I love the Lodges freedom of speech and want it to thrive. So let that be the end of Branch gate.

I’m trying with all my power to refrain from futbol talk but we’re on the cusp of a new season of Champions League play. Simple put it’s the best of the best in Europe in a World Cup format. Quality teams equal quality games. If you have any bit of interest check out ESPN2 (11.45) and ESPN classic (2pm) today and tomorrow.

I thought that we could reopen the forum of NFL talk. I am sure this was exhausted last night at the lanes but I thought I would mention a few things that struck me. I think I might have a new song coming out Goose, instead of Crappy Jay Fiedler a simple change will be made to Crappy Jake Plummer. Which truly have a better ring to it. I love that all facets of the Broncos were running a great clip except for the main component: QB. CUTLER WATCH has begun in the Mile High City. T minus 6 games and counting.

Joe, the Colorado bashing is not going to bother me. I knew that this was going to be a rough few years in Boulder. I didn’t expect a loss to MT State but I know that they are doing to struggle and struggle they will until they can find a QB.

The Huskies showed the nation that they have talent except that talent can only play 30 minutes. The team did show they are on the rise. I can only think that there performance in Norman will be a spark to the season proving that they have the team to roll with anyone. They just need to harness that for a full 60 minutes. I see a Las Vegas Bowl in there future.

Joe “GET OUT A’ HERE” Paterno is still the best part of Penn State football. I really think this guy is going to die on the field. He looks like he is just traveling the sidelines looking for something he just can’t quite remember what it is but he’s still looking for it. Kind of that post concussion dazed look. He still is the best dress coach.

Yes, there was a Reggie Williams sighting in Jacksonville. He had 6 grabs for 47 yards and a touchdown, oh and one horrible end zone celebration.

How’s Green Bay working out for Brett Farve? Long season ahead on the tundra.

Did I mention I hate Jake Plummer…? Well this week at least.

Good post, Train. Once again, I'm all for the world's game getting more play in the Lodge. The Champions League is going to be great this year.

The Cutler watch has begun... and I read that CU's QB wants to transfer in today's PI sports page. Ouch. Not good times in the Rocky Mountains.

We talked about it last night (at the Lodge bowling outing that Jordan & Dude basically pussed out on so hard that their manhood will be questioned for the next few weeks/months) ... the inevidible demise of Drew Bledsoe as the Cowboy's starting QB. I still think he always has done just enough to stay the QB for his teams. But it looks like SI's Peter King agrees with Jimbo and Shawn that Romo could be handing off for Dallas soon.

inevitable. *i'm a spelling whore* you combined indivisible and edible together. Dutch pronunciation is not allowed here. Now i'm forgiving of these things if they're typos, but not intentional.

I didn't make it last night because I went out to dinner with my dad and then he came over to do some work on the computer. It was a last minute thing and my Dad needed the help. My appologies to the lodge but my dad is going through some big stuff right now so I needed to be there.
