Miller-Time
So NPR has this series calles "This I Believe". It's basically a series of essay's from politicians, writers, etc on various subjects. It's usually pretty interesting stuff.
For 9/11 they had comic book writer/artist Frank Miller. He's the guy who created "Sin City", made Daredevil cool and wrote one of the most revered comic book works ever, "The Dark Knight Returns". Much of Miller's work has been laced with scathing political commentaries. So, with that in mind, I found it odd that NPR chose him, but in the end, I really liked his message.
The piece is called "That Old Piece of Cloth". I really enjoyed his essay and thought I'd share it with the lodge. You can read or listen to it here.
