Mail by Empire or Rebel delivery?

So, in addition to the new R2 mailbox unit the Post Office is not quitting on us and giving all Star Wars heads continued joy with commemorative postage stamps.

There are a series of different stamps from the old school & new school trilogies that are going to be put into circulation. Of course you can vote on your favorite stamps now since USPS is going all out on this one to make serious sticker sales.

Individual stamps feature:
• Darth Vader.
• Yoda.
• Obi-Wan Kenobi.
• Han Solo and Chewbacca.
• Anakin Skywalker fighting Obi-Wan Kenobi.
• Queen Padme Amidala.
• Luke Skywalker.
• Princess Leia Organa with R2-D2.
• Emperor Palpatine.
• Darth Maul.
• Imperial Stormtroopers.
• Boba Fett.
• The Millennium Falcon.
• An X-wing fighter.
• C-3PO.

Really, I see the countermove of the post office to make nostalgic eye-candy while at the same time raising the postage rate to 41cents. I remember the good old days of Republic when Padme kept postage at a steady 22cents...

While MCP normally has cornered the market on Dork posts...I think Train dropped the ball on this. He is the resident Star Wars Groupie/Junkie/Geek

Look standing against the Tatooine sunset was dumb. Even Padme looked more hardcore in her Amidala Queen outfit. I've re-elected padme for machismo.

Screw Maradona. Lets give a shout out to the 1st Lodge sighting (I Think...Elias will have to back me up) of Mr Herve Villechaize. The man who made Self Inflicted Shotgun wounds stylish in the 70's for Midgets.
Star of one of the best "E" true hollywood stories ever (Right after Jenna Jameson and Lobster Boy)

FYI Joe. It is lodge tradition (well at least a Goose family tradition)that whenever you list the word cocaine, you link it to pictures of Michael Irvin, whenever you type Michael Irvin, you link it to pictures of cocaine

Thats the way the Lodge rolls

I thought tagging in Chappelle show was a nice enough touch and a little more closely related... and I felt a 3rd link would have been overboard, but I'm glad you mentioned it just so we could link some more pictures of Michael Irvin.

Excuse me... HOF Michael Irvin.

*****BREAKING NEWS*******

So Lazlo just called me. Still working in arizona and going to culinary school to become a chef. So the conversation goes like this

Lazlo - Hey your a Mariners fan right?

Goose - Yeah

Lazlo - Do you know who Ryan Anderson is?

Goose - Yeah. Big skinny guy about 6'10?

Lazlo - Thats him. He's here in Cooking school with me

Goose - Wow. Thats a big life dropoff. He was the M's #1 pitching prospect for many years. Hey you should call him "Little Unit" and see if he gets pissed

Lazlo - I dont this so...he's a big guy

Goose - Just hit him in the elbow or shoulder, he'll drop like Enron Stock.

Anyway. I thought that was a good "Where are they now" Lodge Exclusive.

Lazlo send his regards and still maintains he is the true Ryan Leaf of the Lodge

If he can get us a picture of the Lil' Unit in his Cook gear. I think he would become an honorary Lodge memeber.
