I feel the need....

On March 3, 1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of it's pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded. Through March or 2008 the Cinerama Theater is going to be showcasing 70mm prints of films. As the one of the only remaining theaters in Seattle capable of showing films in 70mm this is a really cool opportunity.

Starting this series off is none other than Top @#$%ing Gun!

The remaining screenings are:
10/2 - 8 PM (the showing I'll be attending)
10/7 - Noon
10/9 - 8 PM

If you haven't had the chance to see a 70mm film @ Cinerama, it is worth checking out. Plus it's Top Gun...you can't beat that!

Did you happen to catch Ang Lee yesterday? I was unfortunate to not have been able to obtain advance information on time for that event.
