Style Smackdown
Its that time of year again where I share my joy that combines aggression and art. B-boy battles. Last week marked the end of Battle of the Year 2007. Yet again the national feuds flare for France and Korea. Its a cold war of sorts.Germany yet again sits as the stageplace where the barriers of style seek to clash. Each country stockpiling new crews, bboys, and moves; and every year coming to close calls and the politics of dancing as it seems.

The French are back to #2... very appropriate. Thanks for the update, Devo.
The music as noticeably better this year, I agree. Your MVP in white and gear was pretty sick. I loved the midair spin onto his back where he just bounced off the ground into another spin.
Also, big props to the girl in yellow-green on the Korean team that brought it hard.
The French still have their wall jumping sh!t... even immortalized in Casino Royale.
The big breakout nation this year in hip hop: RUSSIA. Not kidding... but more on that in the UK Championship report.
