The World loses a Skywalker

'Star Wars' Actor Brown Dies
Actor Phil Brown, best known for playing Luke Skywalker's Uncle Owen in Star Wars, has died of pneumonia. He was 89. The Massachusetts-born actor died at the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills, California on Thursday, according to his widow Ginny. After starring in movies and TV shows in the 1940s, Brown moved to London in the 1950s after he was wrongly blacklisted during the Communist scares in the United States. Star Wars director George Lucas cast Brown while filming scenes for the 1977 sci-fi epic in London, and his fame playing Uncle Owen in the movie lead to his return to America. Brown is survived by widow Ginny, their son Kevin, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild

A moment of silence for Uncle Owen. His character won't be forgotten or his contribution against the Dark Side!

One day I'll have to post me Phil Brown story. I got to meet him at his first appearance after having a mild stroke back in 2000. Suffice to say Shananigans ensued.

Btw...Joe's a Douche. Just an FYI.

"How you, uh... coming on that novel, you working on... gotta, uh, nice big stack of papers there? Eh?... Gotta compelling protagonist?... Nice little narative there?..."

"You know... the novel you've been working on? Draw from real-life experience?... everybody learns the hero's journey isn't always a happy one?"

I take offense to you talking about my friend like that Jayne. Joe is not a Douche.

Harry Whittington...via a "shot to the heart"...by Richard Bruce Cheney...and 2.0, I suppose imitation is the best form of flattery, but have we gotten to the point were we need to recycle jokes used a month and a half ago by myself...don't get me wrong, I didn't write it, but I did steal it first...oh yeah...and Train....I want you to take those droids to Anchorhead tomorrow and have their memories erased...they belong to us now...

Sorry, Jimbo. Apparently I don't actually read your posts. You got me.

Oh, and Train... you'd better have those units in the South Ridge repaired by midday, or there'll be hell to pay.
