It's getting near that time again!
So McFarlane Toys is putting out a series of 'Lost' action figures this September, and they finally released the first images.
At first I couldn't really have cared less, but these things look really cool! I totally need to get a pre-button pushing Locke.
Each figure comes with the pictured background you see, and there is also going to be a hatch box set (the last picture). Apparently there's already another series in the pipeline of different figures, which will inclue good ol' Mr. Eko.
I'm getting amped up now! First we've got the season 2 extended edition box set due out September 5, then the figures, and then finally Season 3 starts on October 4!
ABC is trying something a little different this season with the scheduling of the show. According to the producers, the first six episodes will be shown in order, without re-runs. The producers are saying that the first six episodes is built almost like a mini-series. They're promising to answer a lot of questions in those first few episodes. The rumor is the first episode will only follow Jack's crew, and not the people on the other side of the island (is that vague enough for those who haven't seen it yet?).
After those six episodes are shown, the series will go on hiatus until late winter (late February/early March). From that point every single week will be a new episode until the end of the season.
Personally I think that's a much better way to go. I was getting really frustrated with the way they mixed the re-runs in.

That Hatch setup is actually pretty sweet.
im stoked about season 3. Is everyone caught up so that we can have a massive lost discussion with fear of spoilers for those who at this point can only be considered lazy?
all Lost discussion is open at this point, Goose was the last holdout...I like the art and I love the revised format...glad to see that a major network finally doing something for the actual viewer...
One of the writers revealed that they will be revealing how Locke was paralyzed this season.
All I have to say is...finally!
Actually Dude and Joe were still viewing Season 2
yes, but I believe that you (goose) were even farther behind the both of them and found a way to watch it all... Oh, and you have two kids. So, I don't really want to hear any more excuses from whoever hasen't caught up.
umm Dude has had approximately the last three months to catch up on every TV show that has been produced in the last 10 years and he's chosen not to do it, so he gets no sympathy...and 2.0?, do I really have to go there?
Well, since Joe & the Dude aren't around today to vote on it, I'm just going to go ahead and declare open season on all things 'Lost'.
Just a warning... there have been many many posts on Lost. And if you want me to read ANY part of the post... don't include Lost in it. Because I won't read the post, just like I haven't read any of them up to this point.
I am planning on watching the show sometime. But as a hater of pretty much everything on network TV (other than Aaron Sorkin created shows), I've not watched Lost yet.
Well than be prepared to skip a lot of upcoming posts...I wait for no man.
I wouldn't if I were in your shoes also. Forbid the thought. Go ahead, get lost.
