Uber-geeks have a home in the Lodge.

As well as sports geeks. I love that the M's are still scraping their way into mediocrity with their above-average play after the All-Star break. Good to see Beltre & Sexson living up to almost 50% of their contracts. Half-way their, boys.

MCP's comment was "oh, I have that book"....Blah,Blah,Blah( I wasn't paying attention)... it's called Arkayn, Blah, Blah....

it sounded just like the comic guy from the Simpson.

Perhaps you remember Atomic Man #152 where he teams up with the gang from Archie, it was a short-lived comic highlighted by the foils of Jughead and Atomic Man...

For the record:

The pic is from the Arkham Asylum TPB written by Grant Morrison (The guy who sued the Wachowski bros for stealing the idea for the Matrix) and drawn by Dave McKean (Most well known for the Sandman, but he recently made his directorial debut with the film Mirrormask).

It's an excellent book...albeit a little out there.

Additionally on the Matrix tangent, Masamune Shirou the creatore of Ghost in the Shell was further offended by the conceptual plagiarism of human consciousness within a virtual realm. The original manga was done in 1991 and the theatrical anime release in 1995. He declined to work on the Animatrix along with other popular anime creators from well known works like Cowboy Bebop and Submarine: Blue. (I stand with my geek brothers)
