Teaser Poster Time
Troublemaker Studios finally released the teaser posters for "Grindhouse", which comes out April 2007.
For those not familiar with this movie, it's actually made up of two 1-hour films. One directed by Robert Rodriguez and the other by Quentin Tarantino. Between these films are a series of fake trailers for other Grindhouse movies which are being made by people like Eli Roth (Hostel, Cabin Fever) & Alexandre Aja (High Tension).
The Rodriguez flick is called "Planet Terror" and stars Naveen Andrews (Sayid from Lost), Michael Biehn (Hicks!), Rosario Dawson (Sin City) and others.
The Tarantino pictures is called "Death Proof". Details on this one have been a little fuzzier, however Kurt Russel is confirmed to be playing the bad guy.
I'm SUPER-excited about these flicks, and these teaser posters are even cooler than I thought they'd be. I think I'm gonna have to get the Planet Terror ones framed.

man...keep those coming...must be good to get to a put in your directing where you realize you can pretty much do whatever f' you want...especially Rodriguez...I've heard the QT flick is zombie-themed...which sounds so graphic I can barely keep my lunchtime burrito down

Actually, from the way I understand it, the Rodriguez flick is an alien/zombie flick.
I think the Quentin portion is about a psycho stunt man (Russell) who can't die and goes on a killing spree.
Don't quote me on that, but that's my understanding.
I thought I heard the other way...but, that'll work for me...I mean seriously, you tell me a better plot line than the two above? go on...do it....
and Duke, I hold down as tough as I can, I've hit a block in the dog days of summer...need to get inspired again...guess it's back to methadone...
