You Might be a Pro Football Team from Arizona if....

5-Your kicker is drafted in the sixth round of an 8team Fantasy Draft

4-You build a 455million dollar stadium for the Super Bowl not your team

3-Your head coach is Denny Green

2-Your the first team ever to lose two straight games after leading 14-0 after the 1st quarter

1-You lose the most important game in the past ten years by allowing 21 points in the 4th quarter to an opposing team whose QB rating was 10.69

What hurt the most was seeing Grossman get off the hook after he showed his true colors.

Duke needs to post a YOU TUBE version of the Denny Green Post game interview... Simply EPIC

Man I saw that on Sportscenter. Mt. Denny errupted. It was pretty cool. The great thing was the Cardinal PR guy he walked past ("And next we'll here from Matt Lienart")

PS. Dont forget to sign the Petition boys

Ironically enough, a friend of mine was in town from Chicago yesterday.....so I met him downtown for some Rock Bottom brews and burgers.....and we couldn't believe what we were witnessing.

He couldn't understand how half of the bar was rooting for Arizona in the first half and then they switched to Chicago at the end of the game.....I tried to tell him that it was just because nobody really gave a crap...they just like to see a team other than the Seahawks completely meltdown.

Gotta say though....Leinart looked good. That guy has played in his share of big games under the bright lights, and you could tell last night. There was no deer in headlights look going on. He's going to be a great QB the second he leaves Phoenix.....

While I am impressed with Matty L more and more I am continuously dismayed on how bad the Arizona OL is.

1) 36 carries for 55 yards? 1.5ypc. You can fall forward and get 1.5yds. That is pathetic.

2) Inability to check down and block the blindside on an audible by your QB. Gotta know the schemes and who to block. Leaving your QB blidside open in inexcuseable

Leinart could do well in Phoenix. He has alot of talent around him. So there is potential. But then again no one ever wins in Arizona.

a winner in the Valley of the Sun is like the DRays getting into the World Series...two things I'll never see in my lifetime...

Matt L. didn't surprise anyone that was forced to watch every SC game from the past two years...unfortunately the Bidwell's will have to invest a little more money into either a decent Oline coach or open their wallets to some big time FA...because you better start thinking about protecting your Franchise QB if you don't want him wearing the Kurt Warner face in 5 years...

The first Chicago TD off of the sack was Horrendous Oline protection 101...Ross goes left even though he had and outside DE with no RB blocking...the RT position is the most important player on the field for a Southpaw...

The missed Ross block was the play of the game. Inexcusable.

Willingham has opened the door for a possible Jake Locker starting gig for the Huskies this year. What do ya'll think? Should they go for a bowl bid and start the redshirt frosh?

Alot depends on Bonnell's performace on Saturday

I say no...but I preface it with this question:

Is he a better option for the team right now than C. Bonnell? If the answer to that question is yes...than I think you play him...

The second question is: how do you know? Is 5 starts worth it? two of which are @Cal and @Ore? UW needs two more wins? can Carl deliver? stay tuned

They can get a bowl invite without Locker....he needs to keep the redshirt on.....I will be supremely disappointed if I hear otherwise.

In other news.....the Ram's crybaby of the day??? CONGRATULATIONS Scott Linehan!!!

Found the Denny Green tirade... AWESOME!

Teams could use the loophole to their advantage, Linehan said. For example, a trailing team that completes a long pass might not have time to get the rest of the team to the ball in the waning seconds. So why not just have the receivers who are downfield run a play and take the illegal formation penalty?

Crybaby or not...That is a great point

Except that the referees need to put the ball down for the offensive team to snap... so the Linehan argument isn't really plausible.

***DEEP BREATH***

Sorry about that....got a little bit excited there for a second.

The ball can be put into play in a matter of seconds..thats not the issue.

Besides. If you can find a way to bypass the rules and screw with the Integrity of the game, Im sure the cowboys will try it.

I'm not going to call you out on it...but the entire city complained following the Super Bowl...I know you're generally an optimistic kind of guy, but no one was immune following that hose job...no one...

The city whined about losing....they whined about bad calls. But nobody was whining about the RULES....only their interpretation if you want to be technical about it.

Yeah sure....we got hosed supposedly....we also played like shit....and I don't think that anyone was advocating that it's OK to tackle defensive lineman, or knockdown players in the secondary to make it easier to catch a pass heading your direction....
