13 Tzameti

Post-Highlights of a rare and awesome MNF Snow game I watched this movie in the dreery twilight of the winter snow. Its called 13 Tzameti. The relevance of the 13 becomes obvious as the story develops. The plot summary online is an ample introduction: Sebastian, a young man, has decided to follow instructions intended for someone else, without knowing where they will take him. Something else he does not know is that Gerard Dorez, a cop on a knife-edge, is tailing him. When he reaches his destination, Sebastian falls into a degenerate, clandestine world of mental chaos behind closed doors in which men gamble on the lives of others men.

Really, I didn't pay too much attention to names in the film. This movie is dark, cold, and flat that forces you to look at every nuance and movement. Flowing in this film is kind of like a bad dream that isn't so much terrifying as it is startlingly numb. The black & white style helps emphasize shots more through the medium. It won a lot of fancy film awards and I recommend it with my empty black heart.

Since this film may be difficult to find you can torrent it hereand get the subs here. The dvd does not release for U.S. audiences until 02.13.07 from Palm films.
