PURDUE-Joe Tiller always has his teams prepared to play come bowl season...and the ACC couldn't clean the Big 10's jock right now...

NAVY-Can't go against my favorite service team...Paul Johnson can kill about 85% of all NCAA defenses with three weeks to prepare...and BC is in that 85%...please also see comments about ACC

TEJAS-UT gets a home game? The only question for this game is how high the spread gets

VA-TECH-even though the Hokies are down and the game is in Atlanta I still believe UGA might be the most overrated program of the past 20 years...no change this year...besides Defense and Speciality Teams win big games right Goose? Should be a good game

MIAMI--This has to be the oddest matchup of the bowl season...Miami?...I think this is the one in SF...I just can't see anyway that Nevada's talent level can match and beat Miami's for 60 minutes unless...Miami comes off the plane with the practice team...which has a 45% probablity...(nice photo MCP)

even though I could never bet against UT playing in Saint Anthony, the Alamo Bowl is known for weird games and odd finishes...

I'm going with the Terps over Purdue because the Boilermakers haven't really beaten anyone good all year, while Maryland took out FSU, Clemson and The U in consecutive weeks.

Meineke Car Care Bowl? Never heard of it. Take BC, which owns the nation's longest bowl-game winning streak (six). Yeah, I just read that. But it's still impressive. And Navy hasn't beaten one good team all year.

Texas is going blow Iowa out. I'd put bigtime points on this one, Casey.

Defense wins championships... and bowl games. Va. Tech is the pick versus Georgia.

The U... big time. This one has Ewing Theory written all over it.

They won those games by a total of 5 points and two were at home with the Clemson win being the only one that mattered...This is going to be a shootout, but I'm staying with Purdue

and you're probably right about BC, however, I would still pick Navy because BC has the "coach just took another job and is going to sleepwalk through game prep" look about them...

and I'm not sure Bledsoe Theory applies to the U, but I still can't pick the 4th place team in the WAC to beat them...

Looks like Goose or Seatown are going to have to be the tie breakers for the Purdue/Maryland game
