R.I.P Peter Boyle

So I simply had to raise a glass for Peter Boyle who died yesterday at the age of 71. Boyle starred in my all-time favorite comedy, “Young Frankenstein” so I felt obligated to post a little tribute....

Nah...this is way above Bruno Kirby. At least Boyle had more than one good film credit.

You've got Young Frankenstein, Taxi Driver, Where The Buffalo Roam, Outland (okay..I know it was crappy), Yellowbeard (A flick with the greatest comedic cast ever. Cheech & Chong, Monty Python, Marty Feldman, Madeline Kahn, etc, etc) & Malcolm X.

The guy was best friends with John f'n Lennon! John was even the best man at Boyle's wedding. If that doesn't score you cool points, I don't know what does.

Although I'll admit, the fact that he was on "Everybody Loves Raymond" doesn't help my case.

I think you pretty much cornered the "City Slickers" posts. If anyone dropped the ball, I gotta point the finger at you.
