With South Florida starting a Freshman quarterback in Matt Grothe, I gotta go with an ECU squad that had been better tested with a tougher schedule.
New Mexico at HOME vs. a San Jose State team that shouldn't be in a bowl game... hmm what do you think, Casey.
The last one is a doozy... with Tulsa losing on the road at BYU 49-24 and Utah losing at home later in the year versus the same BYU team 33-31. But BYU was then ranked... give the nod to Utah, Tulsa has neither the momentum or the experience to beat the Utes.
Love the analysis Joe. Good stuff. Although you didn't give a pick for Arizona State vs Hawaii.

Hawai'i + the points at home. Their QB is a stud.
Goose, I saw that they beat WV, but that means this game is probably a let down game after that victory, and they were on a losing streak before that win.

I'd take Southern Florida with the better defense and schedule
I'd take Utah due to the fact that Tulsa hasnt beaten anyone except a crappy Tulane team since October
Take New Mexico in a game vs two evenly matched teams and their home field advantage (Good call Joe)
I would normall pick ASU over hawaii because Hawaii has NO DEFENSE and I hate offense only teams. However Hawaii has a 50ppg offense and a home field crowd. Look for Hawaii in a High scoring game 41-35
