The 1st offical Lodge Scolding. Chewbacca is not happy
Noticing a little theme in the Lodge.
Duke and Jimbo are pretty much carrying the Lodge with a slathering of Goose in between.
*Dude has not provided his own post since the Nov 13th and his Hockey post that not one really read, but we were all happy to see him
*Train has not posted since Nov 7th and his commentary on the Sandinista's.
*Joe has been silent since introducing us to Gatsby on Nov 6th, (who should really be renamed Nate Newton)
*Jaynee has not even posted any Lost reviews. Nothing since Nov 1st when he was about to leave for Vegas.
And Seatown. While one of the most active commentators in the group. Your last post was Sept 28th, with that Kid who had a Bug in his ear...like KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!
My point is the Lodge thrives on its different personalities and points of view. Since Nov 13th. Only Duke Jimbo and Myself has made posts
Its December 1st boys. And several of you have as many posts in the Last 3 weeks as Greg and Lazlo, and they have been kicked out of the Lodge. Lets see some effort here.
And Chewbacca Thursday was missed yesterday. Someone else could have posted a pic.
There will be times when your all stars go down on a Chewbacca Thursday, and role players need to step up.

Well allow me to retort.
Seriously though, I hear you Goose. I know that I haven't posted in awhile...and the only reason that I can give is a personal character flaw. (I know....weak)
I think of something to post on EVERY SINGLE DAY. Only problem is....I start analyzing the CRAP out of everything and it turns into this big monster...and I'm too much of a perfectionist to post something shitty. I know....lame, again. It takes me soooooo long to put something together that I tend to just bag it...and comment on everything else. And I hate posting links to stories that I see.....even though I have....but I just like to get some discussion going.
So, all that being said....I'll make it up. I'll go back on probationary status and make several posts over the next month if necessary. I would only ask for a bit of leniance from the Lodge gods when it comes to formatting my shit. I've seen the wrath....and I no likie.

Man, I see in The Lodge the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need.
We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. Look I sit in a phone queue all day. We all remember this!. I can't just sit and read comic sites all day like my pemco counterpart. I say this cause 99% of the time I go over to Casey's desk and that is what I see. Yet he's been just as non existant as I.
I would love to be able to submit a post a day but you know what I'm not going to do that. I don't have the time (at work) to sit and work on a full coherant post that I think is somthing I want to post. I'm not going to post just to post. I'll do my best to get something up here and there. I like joe comment regularly and feel that that input is enough most days. Look this is a place where we can go during the day to get away from the corporate hell most of us are in. So what if there isn't some new post with fancy pictures and sweet in site. really all this is is a IM taken to 11. like the old days at Elink. I'm fine with just a picture of the day and then the comments keep flowing all day long. The posts only inhance it. I promise to be here on the lodge daily. If I get a post out so be it and if I don't I'm not going yo lose any sleep over it and neither is the rest of the lodge.
Oh and Casey why don't you grow up and quite trying to "tattle" on me or what ever the hell you are doing. Your first comment about me was great. The second just makes you look sad.

Train...total posts from me this past week=4, amount of time taken to compose those posts, approx. 10 minutes...Train, that commentary post you just made might be the weakest excuse for not doing something I've ever heard....
Here's the last and only thing I'm going to say about this topic: honestly, I don't give two sh&t's who posts and who comments...I've always said from the begining, this is a place to exchange ideas and if you feel you have no ideas to exchange, well that sounds personal...
and seriuosly Train...was that explanation really necessary? I believe I speak for the rest of us and say: I don't care and how lame it to call out your co-worker for being man enough to convey the message you should've sent...man...this has to rank in the top five most depressing posts ever...
