Aloha
UW: For those of you that don't know, "aloha" means hello and goodbye. And I'm fairly certain Husky Head Ball Coach Tyrone Willingham will be saying goodbye to the Husky program after the Dawgs came up short to the Rainbows on the Island of Oahu late Saturday night. Yes, Udub finished the season with more wins than the last 2 years combined, but when that total comes to 4, it's still not enough.
Thinking Tyrone will get canned is the truth. Don't hate on me for thinking it. No, it's not a good thing for Tyrone, for more than a few reasons. First, he got fired after only three years at Notre Dame, only to get the same treatment in Montlake. In addition, it's never a good thing when a great guy, recruiter and top-shelf motivator like Willingham gets pointed the door. But quality character doesn't equal wins in this instance. And the program needs some new energy and new coordinators, and I'm afraid Tyrone is loyal to a fault and won't fire his staff.
But the most important reason the time is now is down the road in the form of the Seahawks assistant head coach and defensive backs coach Jim Mora Jr. It's his dream job, he's proven successful in the NFL, and he'd be coming back as an alumnus. Not unlike the background of Lorenzo Romar. Make it happen, UW.
IN OTHER NEWS: Nice work by the Seahawks closing out a feisty Philly Eagles team on Sunday. Also, kudos to Liverpool for moving into 3rd in the table and six points out of Seatown's first place Arsenal squad. SAF's keeping Ronaldo and Vidic out of the match last week really hurt them in the standings. Especially considering the Champions League match didn't matter after already qualifying. Usually SAF makes the right moves, but that was sketchy. Your thoughts?
I'll leave you with this amazing video of Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog". Not sure why it's on ESPN's video page, but anything this quality for free, the Lodge will gladly accept.

Oh, and our second anniversary today. We made it 2 years. I'm not sure if there should be a "Yeah!" or a "Ha Ha!"
congrats...but you should know that UDub won 4-5 games last year...so this year was a replecation of last year...

Really? Not good, nonetheless. Apparently at least you, me and Goose think he's out. Enter the Jim Mora Jr. Era?
So....I've been a bit off the blog lately...for many reasons that I won't go into now....
I will say, that reading this post from the top...I actually thought that it was Jimbo...at first. Until...throwing out kudos to a team that he hates...and somehow questioning the decision making of SAF.....
Is it even legal to give kudos to your own squad Hollywood??
Is Tom Brady going to post on The Lodge and give himself kudos for being a whiny bitch...that is still undefeated after some questionable officiating? ....or does Tom Brady know better than that....
I think you know the answer....
When do you hear back about the inspection, Shawn?
Tom Brady? Although I agree he's a whiny b!tch, I don't get the connection.
Sounds like you are a little worried about your Gunners...
I'm concerned about the M.A.S.H. unit right now...but the young Gunners are capable and deserve some chances. That being said, the next 4 weeks pose an incredible test for them....so it will be fun to watch.
The Tom Brady reference was a stretch...but we had just finished watching the Pats get that game handed to them and I was a bit pissed. I hate Tom Brady.
Inspection is done...we are "negotiating" on a few things that we would like to get done before closing...or a price reduction. Still set to close on 12/28 though....
OMAHA...19...SIOUX CITY...10...HUT HUT....
What?... Nebraska? South Dakota?
Excellent.
Now...how do you show the finger pointing?

Not bad, Train.
Finger pointing? How about this one here ... or that one there.
Man, the SG is right when he calls the Pats the Cobra-Kai Yankees.
