So in the mold of a good 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon theme...I want to know how close some famous people are to the Lodge. Lets see who our top Celebrity is thats 1 or 2 degrees from the coveted Lodge Honorary Membership.

Ozzy Osbourne was in my building lobby last spring.
My cousin smoked with Gary Payton in South Seattle.
My Uncle knows former FEMA chief Michael Brown, who was appointed by George W. Bush -- so i'm two away from Bush.
Quincy Jones, my family grew up two blocks from the joneses, my aunt is friends with his brother who now Judge Jones. The judge also convicted the Green River Killer. So I'm one away from The "Q" and Gary Ridgway.
My Brother-in-law is cousin to final round American Idol contest and Hawaiian Jasmine Trias which in effect leaves me two away from the AI Judging Panel: Simon, Paula, Randy, and Seacrest.

I’ve had my picture taken with Franco Harris while he was promoting non alcoholic beer in Denver. So I've also met Terry Bradshaw.
I’ve met the majority of the 1986-87, 87-88 Denver Broncos. So by association I’ve met John Elway.
My mother was friends with Goose’s arch enemy Gary Coleman and came over for dinner.
My father is good friends with Danny Schayes ( Denver Nuggets). I had lunch with Doug Moe.
Nothing else really comes to mind
The Slick Rick one was nice, Goose. But who haven't you beat in a youth football game and then insulted? The list is long and distinguished.

Okay, I'll chime in on this post while procrastinating for my last 2 final papers of the quarter...
My dad worked with the mother of Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan for 20 years. I met him once in Junior High.
Met Sonic Legend Slick Watts in Junior High.
Looked Charles Barkley in the eyes while getting his autograph in High School. He's only 6'4", I swear.
Played hoops against Arizona Wilcat alum and former NBA guard Michael Dickerson in a summer league in High School. Also only 6'4".
Went to college with all of the dudes from Death Cab For Cutie.
Met Buck O'Neil at the Negro League Baseball Museum in Kansas City.
Guru bought me a drink and gave me a baseball cap after a show I worked while at the bar... met a lot of musicians while there, but he's the most famous. Of course, only Jimbo & Devo probably know him because he's a rapper.
Talked with DJ Shadow after a show 3 years back... and met Cut Chemist at another show 4 years back.
Chatted it up with Talib Kweli at the Showbox backstage last year.
Discussed Coldplay's breakout during the "Rush Of Blood To The Head" Tour with Wayne Coyne and Neko Case backstage during Coldplay set at the Gorge.

Yeah...in Upstate NY. My folks had a cottage there for a few years, Mary lived (and still lives) about 3 doors down...nice lady. No real stories.
