Lodge Fantasy Football League
So NFL football season is approaching... and the Poobah has assigned the designation of starting The Black Lodge Fantasy Football League back up again. So the details are below. Invites have been sent to all 10 owners from last years league in Yahoo! and Train is ready to defend his title.
Shawn is in charge of getting John to the draft, Devo needs to make sure Lloyd is present via phone or iChat video, and Train will make sure Casey clears his convention schedule to attend. I'll be conferencing in via iChat video and plan on making myself available any day of August.
Which brings up draft times... last year we chose a weeknight for the draft, which didn't go super smooth. But let's discuss and comment your preferred dates for a draft in the Lodge.

Wow. Look at all the chatter about draft time. And they said the Lodge was dead...
Thursday night is Lodge night....I propose August 28th. That way we get the majority of the preseason in the mix.....
Anytime after 6 pm works for me.
Thank you, Ctown. After 6 is logical... let's put in time for dinner and place the start time at 7:30 which will inevitably be a realistic 8:00 PM draft time adding in the transition to the basement, pouring of drinks, etc.
Please discuss this at the next Lodge gathering and give me a shout as to the agreed time.
I think Jimbo, Train and The Dude are all on board with the timing on this. The big coordination is with Goose, Devo, MCP, etc.
I'll take care of JV....or Warren....whoever decides to fill the final spot.
Aug 28th works for me...however due to Knights Practice times...I cannot be there until 9pm
9pm is really when the festivities begin anyway.
MCP gave me the “I’m in for fantasy” statement today. He’ll turn up eventually.
This is the first time i've seen the lodge in weeks. Unfortunately, my office has installed software for the internet that blocks all non-business sites.
I teach nights now in addition to the day job. Slim chances I'll be anywhere but around paperwork any night of the week.

MCP joined the league. Everybody needs to log on and join by the 28th. 9PM PST will have to do. I'll be logging on from Hollywood... the Miracle Mile (every time I say Miracle Mile I think of Keith Jackson saying it, not sure why, they aren't even related, okay, I'm done.).
Anybody ever seen the movie MIRACLE MILE with Anthony Edwards? I think of that when I hear Miracle Mile. It's a Cheesy Cold War movie... It's really not as good as GOTCHA!
Devo, you need to get Lloyd in... have you talked to him?
wow...sorry for the summer hold out...but looks like I just got a deal done this morning and I'll be in camp by this afternoon...are we set for the 28th?
