The Dash in Review
I know this is the season of bowl reviews or something I didn't know, was Jim takin' me to the woodshed on darts. But I thought I'd reflect through the cobwebs of the Dash that was on last Wednesday, taking place in several bars through West Seattle.
Alki - First I can't say enough about this bar. A good place just feel like a rebel. I have to say I don't think I could look across the room b/c of the smoke but this year you could...it made it a little awkward. Watched a little football there and made it enjoyable... I just wish it was a walkin' distant bar.
West 5 - A place I was very hesitant about...but my little nephew made his dash debut and rocked the house. Connor wooed all the ladies...
I'm still not sure about the West 5 - personally I' don't think it's big enough and it didn't look big enough when all the proud dashers were in attendence.
Rocksport...Again, a great time had by all. It helped having the games on the big screens and an okay waitress helping things along. I have to Erika G found a cheap drink that brought her on her way.
Cornerpocket - too crowded - decided to move to the main event...The Poogie
Poggie T - This place just has that cloud of smoke about it and it was missing. Thanks people of WA. Anyways, I think the downfall of my dart career or the pitchers of PBR caught up b/c my game was in the toilet. Getting there early was a benefit because pitchers were a premium.
Marharija - the after party. This is where things got interesting. The Kennish and the Princess left - so it was just Walter and The Dude. My drinkin' time was done but my rumble in the alley had just begun. Got into a couple of scraps that left bruises but I think I was no worse than the wear...someone wasn't happy to go to bed and I have to say something was missing this year...oh yeah...it was New Luck Toy...and karoke... Well if you missed out... you should be there next year. Hope everyone had a good safe New Year...props to my boy Jimbo!
