[Insert name here], I loved you in...
Last night, Jenny & I watched a very overrated Match Point last night. Train, I agree it wasn't very good. In fact, I've never really enjoyed a Woody Allen movie & think that pretty much all of his movies are overrated. Maybe people that like Woody Allen are the same people that like the Who over Zeppelin, and the Yankees over the RedSox. But I've never loved a Woody Allen flick. I liked Match Point, but I didn't really like it. C’est la vie.
But after watching the smokin hot (and firmly embedded in my Top-5) Scarlett Johansson do her thing, which isn't much, but still weirdly watchable... I remembered flipping through channels the other day and seeing a young Scarlett on the classic Eight Legged Freaks on HBO. Sweet. Maybe the best "I loved you in..." ever. A few more easy examples for the "I loved you in..." game:

A few more easy examples for the "I loved you in..." game:
- Christian Slater: "I loved you in Gleaming the Cube!"
- George Clooney: "I loved you in Batman and Robin!"
- Jeremy Irons: "I loved you in Dungeons and Dragons!"
- Judi Dench: "I loved you in The Chronicles of Riddick!"

Devin, all of those movies you listed were enjoyable movies (with the exception of Mars Attacks)... I don't think you understand the game.
i enjoyed howard the duck, i enjoyed virtuosity to some extent. there's just something cheesy to these films. and i went on a michael tangent and thats what came out. i was going on cheese, all of them had varying degrees of cheddar to bleu.
James Gandolfini: "I loved you in Surviving Christmas."
Ben Affleck: "I loved you in Mallrats."
(Hilarious movie, but needs to be mentioned when Afflect busts out a line like, "Yeah, who's your favourite New Kid. Yeah, call me Joey!")
I guess I messed up to because Silverado was enjoyable......
So should it be an obscure, CRAPPY movie with a mainstream actor in a role that everyone forgot about?
this is what happens when 2.0 creates a game w/o any rules...nice going
I guess it's basically a movie that said actor wouldn't be proud to have on his/her resume. They'd rather forget they were ever in the role. So it's somewhat subjective... but I'm sure if someone doesn't recognize Tom Hanks, Tom doesn't bust out, "Umm... have you seen Turner & Hootch?"
"Hackers" was Angelina's best film. It goes like this Devin:
Angelina Jolie, I loved you in "Foxfire".
...or...
Giovanni Ribisi, I loved you in "Walker, Texas Ranger".
...or...
Jennifer Aniston, I loved you in "Quantum Leap".
Oh that can be one-upped.
Jennifer Aniston, I loved you in "Leprechaun"
And I liked the Black Hole. But the comment with Anthony Perkins was just too funny to pass up.
Nice, Kevin Hartley in for the guest comment. Welcome to the Lodge, Kev.
Ben Affleck - I loved you in Phantoms...
