Nooner - Koreans v. Swiss

I really wish I could join the all night mayhem that is currently pervading Korean society. All I can do is either go to Chinatown or Fox Sports Grill at noon today. You can try to join the chant of DAE MIN HAN GUK! at the Nara restaurant( 15033 Aurora Ave. N.). Regardless, I see a tenacious tear up game about to start. Lets a take a look at some facts:

Korea - has the most heavily armed border in the world.

Swiss - have a border the size of Bellevue

Korea - South Korea has mandatory military service of twenty-six months for all men aged 18-35. There are no alternatives for conscientious objectors. They train in f***ing all conditions. Koreans drink the blood of their young.

Swiss - The Swiss and the Vatican have the "The Papal Guard" who are the only mercenary unit permitted under Swiss law since 1859, only unmarried Swiss Catholic males aged 19-30 are eligible. This is a voluntary service and you must have basic militia skills. Uniforms were designed by Michelangelo and are still in use.

Swiss - Have missed the last two World Cups. In 1962 and 1966 Switzerland failed to progress beyond the first round, and in 1994 they headed home after a 3-0 loss to Spain in the second round.

Korea - Hosted the 2002 World Cup w/Japan and dominated into the semi's. Korea Republic are Asia's most successful team in the FIFA World Cup™. The team first qualified for the finals in 1954 at the first attempt. They have competed at every tournament since 1986.

FYI: Korean fans could invade Switzerland. This photo is just of old women and children.

Last call for Lodge help for my move tommorrow... Those of you that I have spoken to and can not attend have been excused from participating...

Here's to the Knock out stage - where we will see the end of the South American Flopping and Eastern Block Mullets and Bruce Arena's dictionary size book of excuses.
