Actor Barnard Hughes died today at the age of 90.
Out of all his roles I remember him as
1) The Grandpa from The Lost Boys. "One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach, all the damn vampires"
2) The crabby old doctor, Doc Hogue from "Doc Hollywood"
However SCI-FI Geeks im sure are weeping over the loss of Dr. Walter Gibbs/Dumont from TRON.

While I am ok with seeing the world Cup go. I have realized I am still not a soccer fan, but I am a World Cup fan. I like the fever and the fanatic nature, but soccer annoys me. there are still too many things that bug me about it

I think I have become a soccer fan. I really got into the WC, and I look forward to following more in the future. Isn't there a big Euro qualifier between Italy & France coming up in September? I wonder if ZZ's mom will show up with a platter....

Seatown - Tell you what if you don't have digital cable (I'm sure you do) get it and make sure you get Fox Soccer (401), we have talked about this before. Lets be honest even I have a real tough time watching EPL/CHAMPS during the NCAA/NFL months.

I recommend DVR the ELP review show which is on Sunday nights - recaps all games played and shows at length action from the games.
Go to UEFA.com - keeps you up to date on all things Euro from the CHAMPS LEAGUE to EURO 2008. Great site.
Also ESPN 2 does show games from the CHAMPS LEAGUE - I hope they expand this.

Ok, lets get this camping trip planned. I want it done by the end of the week.
I secured the weekend away from the girlfriend - 7/29-30/06.
The Lodge needs a camping/fishing/bonding trip
I don't plan on MCP being there so we wont need a place with internet access.
My dad told me about some free camping places up near INDEX, WA on HWY 2 - Duke I know you know of some places...
1) Can we all do the 29th?
2) What type of equipment do we all have? (Tents bags etc)
3) Who has cars that can fit multiple people? I have the Goose wagon. Can fit 4-5 plus gear
I lost all my camping stuff in the break-up.
I might be able to borrow some things from my pops.
I can supply a dinner or breakfast.
Dude what didnt you lose in the breakup?

A big Cooler (2 would be better)

Hey, I'm down for an outing, but I think we should plan way ahead. I can't do an overnight on a weekend until the weekend after Shawn's wedding the 26th of August.
I also suggest a movie outing on Friday, the 28th in place of the camping trip...
