TE Stevens taken off field on cart

SEATTLE, Washington - Browncoat Tight End Jerramy Stevens was taken off the field on a cart Thursday morning after injuring his left knee during practice.

Coach Jayne said the injury appeared to be from taking a monkey wrench to the knee. He attempted to walk off the field but was unable, despite Coach Jayne visciously mocking him from the sidelines.

"We were trying some new drills today," stated Coach Jayne, "I saw that movie "Dodgeball" and I decided to apply some of their techniques to our team. Particularly, if you can catch a wrench, you can catch a ball. Apparently, it doesn't translate as much as I had hoped. That Vince Vaughan guy sure is funny though."

Stevens was expected to have an MRI on Thursday afternoon.

"It was the same knee he had surgery on, so I'm kind of @#$%ing my pants right now." Jayne said after practice.

Well, you shouldn't have picked him anyways. Consider this a blessing, Jayne. Seriously.

The guy is my backup Tight End. I don't consider that a bad draft pick at all, actually...at least if you don't count the whole injury thing.

Super slow day in the Lodge. So, this was actually somewhat amusing. I guess I give you an A for effort.
