Tuesday Noodle Time: Pluto

A long debate in the Astronomical Sciences seems to be coming to a close sometime in the next week. Pluto? Should it stay or should it go? Apparently the “oblong” orbit of Pluto is forcing them to take a back seat to some other ‘big rocks’ like the famous: 2003 UB313, So I pose this question to the Lodge, do we erase the past 75 years of Astronomy teaching for the purpose of a technicality? And if so, can we apply this to other sciences? Like the classification of Tomato as a vegetable.

I think that anytime technology/science advances to where we can better classify somthing then so be it. I got no problem with it plus Neptune will finally get the pub it deserves.

I love it when Jimbo goes Quantum on us. Good times. Keep Pluto... add the "new" rocks. Our solar system is a welcoming one, right?

Looks like Len Pasquarelli is rehashing our debate from last fall over College Football vs. Pro Football. Apparently the argument never ends...

I don't know about that Jayne...

I think why not add another planet...let's get a round number like 10! Plus if they have counted Pluto all this time, why not add another rock...

It will throw the educational sciences in shambles...(evil laugh)
