The Worst Draft pick in NFL History
Former NFL and Nebraska running back Lawrence Phillips was convicted Tuesday of seven counts of assault with a deadly weapon for driving a car at a group of young men, injuring three.
The 31-year-old Phillips drove onto a field near Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum after losing a pickup football game on Aug. 21, 2005. He struck two boys, ages 14 and 15, and a 19-year-old man and narrowly missed four others between 15 and 24 years old, according to the prosecutor.

that's the funniest part about this...dude LOST a pickup football game to a bunch of 15 year-olds...I think I'd probably do the same afterwards...the recruiting of Lawerence Phillips should single-handlely keep Tom Osburne out of Congress...can I get and amendmun started on this?
The best thing about it has to be the fact that most likley not one of the 15 year olds even knew who he is...

I realize that Mo was a 3rd rounder vs. Phillips who was the 6th overall. But com'n! There are plenty of 1st rounders that fizzle at year 4. Phillips just fizzled crack cocaine and then started playing with guns.
W T F!!!! How do you lose a "pickup" game to kids. Why would you even get mad? I mean if you're an adult (besides that a professional athlete) playing with kids - most people would humor or entertain kids by letting them win. Were they playing high-stakes and a dozen PSP games were on the line?
