Fantasy Football Keepers?
So I have a question for each of you in preparation for the Lodge Fantasy Football League draft that is scheduled for next Thursday, August 28th at 9PM PST. Should we introduce keepers into the league? I am for it, since I do believe these 10 teams are people that can be counted on (Yes, even you MCP) and it would add a cool element to draft strategy.C-Town, John & The Dude still aren't in the league. If any of you talk to them. Please get them signed up before the draft next week. Thanks.
If we vote and decide to include that wrinkle -- Do we say a team can keep 2 players at the end of the year? If it's 2 keepers -- Do we say that you keep them in the round you drafted them (with 3 year contracts)? Or do we just say 2 keepers, no round forfeiting? Obviously there needs to be a vote and then ideas thrown around for it to work. But I love the idea of this working. As for the keeper leauge, I am on the fence. Its interesting however I like the New Fresh team each year. But since we are a smaller league lets give it a shot.

I'm in for a keeper league. I would like to keep it to only one player. I don't think it should count against your next years draft pick.

I spoke with Jimbo last night. He's interested in a keeper league. Dude and Shawn were a no show last night.

We would draft with keepers in mind... and before the draft next year, submit the 2 players we'd want to keep.
I also submit that draft order should be in reverse order of standings from the final standings from the year before. Anybody second that motion?
Hey guys...remember me? So I have to be a douche and miss the draft tonight...I didn't realize I was double booked and I can't miss my prior obligation. So we have 2 options:
1. Jordan can draft a team in my absence.
2. I skip this years draft.
Sorry to throw this out there at the last minute...It's uber-not cool, I realize.
