ALCS champs

While Shaun Alexander was doing the sprinkler and scoring for the third or fourth time, the White Sox were playing for the American League Championship. Behind the fourth complete game by a fourth different starter, the White Sox literally go into the World Series on their starting pitching. There hasn't been a time in our recent memory where we have seen four consecutive complete games.

So now the question is, who will pose a better Series. Houston - They have come alive with there timely hits and have a great pitching. St. Louis - a battered up starting rotation and some nagging injuries have really done St. L in. I would say Houston on the account that pitching and the style of ball. We don't have to worry about 12 homers in one game. Well I have had enough...this is The Dude from the classroom!

After the events that transpired at the Park last night. Houston might need the crash cart to get them jumpstarted and back into the series. That was a heartbreaker. Oh and not to mention a moon shot by Albe Poo-Holes. Any one catch the shot of Nolan Ryan? his face said it all....

Did anyone not see that coming as soon as Edmonds was walked? As soon as I saw Pujols swing, I said wow. I have to say if you had two outs and your series on the line, would you say that the little Angel shortstop would be your guy? Perhaps... To be continued...

Unbelievable course of events last night...I remember saying " that little lady with white hair sitting behind home is soooo cute, bless her heart...to...my god man, that's the devil herself Mother Bush, and then these exact words came out of my mouth when Eckstein came to the plate..."now, I kind of don't want them to win."...the point: if they lose I'm blaming it on Barbara.

Posting from a hotel room in Spokane, right next door to Gonzaga U!

I have to root for the Sox. How long do you think it will take for the sign that says..."Win one for Shoeless Joe"
