In keeping with all things Futbol/Football related...
*Auf Wiedersehen to 2003 Draft Pick Wayne Hunter following this little incident chronicled by the Renton Police dept.:
"Hunter and his brother were arguing Saturday night at Classic Sports Bar. The
verbal exchange became so heated that the brothers broke a table and glasses as
they took the argument outside. Hunter got his brother, Alexander, into a car, the report said, then re-entered the bar. He asked a bystander what he was looking at, and when the man said, "Nothing," the 6-foot-6, 310-pound Hunter slammed the man into a shuffleboard table and threatened to punch him."
Here's to hoping that he finds a home with the Raiders or Redskins.
*non-football: Excellent series shaping up again matching Phoenix and an LA team: last night's crowning jewel (yes that is rookie Daniel Ewing, who was subbed-in specifically for that play, I remembered why Portland never made the finals with Dunleavy):
*finally, coming back to the international version of football, please support the Northwestern Girls Soccer Program (PEMCO boys, well just try to visualize)

Great to see that the Hawks will at least be making runs for the Super Bowl through 2008.
UEFA Champs game will be a tight game... I am sensing a shoot out. I have to go with Barca. Now way can I watch Arsen Wenger win a title.
0-5 from the 3 point line but still dishing out like 17 assists... that spells MVP to me. Nasha is the Train's favorite NBA player(not counting Amazing Grace)... I am on the bandwagon. Hell I might get a Raja "octagon" Bell jersey.
I dont know about you guys but Hazing is a good thing. Builds team chemistry.
Yeah...I'm thinking the next Lodge member will have to go through the same type of hazing...maybe my summer inter from Sorority Row...
That should be the next order of business a nice sorority intern.. you know to get us coffee and make sure the blog is up and running.
We should send out some fliers to the UW campus.
I love that you blamed Dunleavy when I felt he coached very well last night making the crunch time defensive/offensive substitutions, running the 2-man game down the stretch, etc. Dunleavy can't lace up the sneaks and go out and stop Raja Bell himself. Clutch shot. Won the series for the Suns. I was hoping to see a big-ball dance from my man Sam I Am Cassell after the game, but I'll have to wait until Game 7, I guess.
Anybody know of a online radio broadcast of the UEFA Championship Game? Otherwise I'll have to go watch it during lunch at the local Japanese Pub.
Joe, try going to UEFA.com. I think they may have a broadcast. I know jimmy and I listened to it all the time when we were Elinkers.
I still have the UEFA song in my head...
"The CHAMPIONS, The CHAMPIONS"....
you could also DVR it like the rest of the Lodge.
No commenting on the game following your Sapporo-soaked lunch...please respect the DVR-ability of Train and myself...
I can't believe you're defending Dunleavy on that play...did you know that the Clips had a foul to give at that point? and I'm going to channel my inner-Chuck...I just don't know why all these coaches who are up by three don't be fouling with three seconds left...
Jimbo...you remember Classics...that place off the freeway..they just take cash...a little shadey if you ask me.
As for the Suns, Dunleavy may have lost that game in regulation for the team...but the team/person that made the most mental mistakes was Livingston. A costly turnover on the baseline out of a time out was the final nail in the grave.
It should be interesting come game 6 but who knows what Nasha and what Alien aka Cassell will show up. The Mavs could close out the Spurs tonight at the Alamo...easier said than done...should be good watches...and I'm lookin' forward to goin' home tonight to watch the UEFA final so lets keep comments mute until tomorrow.
Cheers!
The foul to give was a blunder. But Romar made the same mistake and I don't remember you blasting him after the game. Of course, you were drunk at the time.
Good luck not seeing the final score while browsing. Looks like Jimbo might actually have to work today. How about this, Jim? I'll link your articles to read, like the new SG piece.
I did blast Romar, especially after he was burned by Stanford on the same situation two months earlier...and I think I can go w/o seeing the score, it's not like most American sports press gives a damn about the most popular sporting event in the world today...
