"Assemble your crew. You and your friends vs. me and the Revolution."
I am very very excited for this upcoming weekend. Even though I just got back from vacation in CA which was action packed as well, there are a lot more local items that perk my interest going on here at home in Seattle. Foremost, the Seattle International Film Festival is going on which is one of my favorite times of year. I love SIFF and will be getting my membership this time around. This Saturday night is going to be the SIFF Gala showing of Perhaps Love. In itself may not seem to be a spectacular movie, but it does have the remarkable work of Christopher Doyle who is undeniably one of the richest filmers and photographers in the world. He has done brilliantly shot movies such as In the Mood For Love and Hero. Many of his pictures and posters are displayed proudly in my home and work. This film features also the world actor Takeshi Kaneshiro who, along with Doyle, have intimately been involved with my favorite director Wong Kar Wai. The Director of Perhaps Love Peter Ho-Sun Chan will be at the after Gala along with principal actress Zhou Xun. I'm sure it will be a great night it begins at 6.30pm w/movie tix going for $10.00 and Movie+Gala tix at $25.00. Well worth it i'm sure. On the following Sunday I hope to be having an action packed time as well since my buddy Colin is going to be throwing it down with a solo DJ show called Trespassers. Not only will this be a musical event, but there will also be an art show going down featuring Mercir's album designer P C P. His work is really lush and surreal I highly recommend dropping in. You can also check out Colin at Chop Suey and with his band Mercir at their other upcoming shows. I think they just did Sasquatch and they might be doing Bumbershoot this year too. Correct me if i'm wrong. Towards the end of the night i'm going to swing by The Showbox and catch the dopest Progressive House DJ in the world John Digweed. Although, I hate classifying dj's because his style is so variant between high dance, hard house, trance, etc... its actually not crap. For details on the COLIN/PCP, Trespassers show please see the below flyer. I hope you peep into some of these for their dopeness factor.

After 3PM on Friday is a bad time to create a verbose post and get people to read it.
I'm going to try and go catch PCP's stuff at the OKOK Gallary or at the music show he'll be painting at on Sunday night. Very cool art. Go check out his site that The Duke linked if you didn't or didn't want to read the post.
See ya'll tomorrow morning around the start of the 2nd half. I'm bringing stuff for momosas.
We should give a shout out to the MCP (two times) and the Duke (once)
We have gone a long time and this week we had 3 posts that did not recieve any comments. The Zero Response Post is the Lodge version of a No hitter in Baseball...
