A shout out to the Pooh bah
So I was cleaning out some old emails and ran across this. Jimbos original Blog invite. Like many great documents (The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, The AutoBiography of Vince Lombardi) its words still ring true as time passes

Ok...you knew it was about time...remember those days back at the call
center...religous pete and top 10's...well it's got a new
home...http://waltsblacklodge.blogspot.com/....I haven't quite figured out
how to add other people, but I think you just need to create a profile and
let me know and we can roll...this going 5-6 months w/o talkin' with the
brothers makes me ill, so this is my small contribution to moving
forward...not to put pressure on you, but the success of the lodge depends
on you..

Call it the Lodge Manifesto...I like the line..."I still don't know how to add people..." ...and after several failed attempts of trying to add new members, it's still true...speaking of which, we need to get back to top 10's
Nothing like getting a look at The Lodge Magna Carta.
Top 10 reasons why it always friggin rains when there is a sporting event in town.....
Goose, you will be missed tonight. I plan on dragging you to a match sometime to see just a great spectacle of sport.
PS - We still have on ticket avaliable I think...
I thought MCP was coming out ? I mean it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone in the Lodge, and I'm totally ok with that lifestyle, but it would be a good time...
Oddly enough he can't make it cause he says he has a date.
well, I hope he treats him good and buys him dinner at least
You're a scholar and a humanitarian
(oooh burn.) ~last night me and my lady made a fighting effort at the Celtic Swell. With 2.0 on the side we cruised 2 rounds at 2nd place and 3rd place, but were destroyed in the International Beer round. The was a brief moment of shame on the Lodge. At least we got props for our alt.moniker: Sexual Choclate.
just looking out for my krewe...
Duke...you must explain what happened in the Intl. Beer round...(holds head down)...I thought Dude was there also...
Well we gotta get someone on that ticket gentlemen......and the bitch betta have my money.
Plastic man says that sunbreaks are possible for the afternoon. I'm predicting a balmy 65 or so degrees by 8 pm.
Washers are in my car.....Jimbo, what time will you be home?
I'm gonna try and get home by 5...might be a little before or a little after...if you set a course for 515 you should be good to go...who's on Brawts's, Buns & Ale?
I can pick up some stuff on the way out from the 'quah....that will help delay my arrival to an appropriate time.
Now...any thoughts on the 6th ticket?
What's up with Duke? does he know that Real has several Brasillian players?
We only got two questions right:
What other country do they manufacture Budweiser? Czech Republic
A Dublin pub created this infamous world beer? Guinness
The other questions were out there....
Triple XXX beer is made from what country?
Cronenburg is the national beer of what European nation?
What European town is attributed to developing the lightest lager?
and other esoteric questions about Denmark, Norway, and Austria.
I of course did dominate the astronomy round. Much thanks to the sci-fi, discovery, and learning channels.
I tried to get MCP to cancel but that was a no go.
I figure that Joe's gotta eat the ticket since he vouched for Duke... AHAHAHHAH
i would go, but I have a bday event, girl is cooking dinner, and my buddy is visiting from out of town from california. Favelas and Brazil are on my future wishlist itinerary, I will have to wait until then. (a girls whip is a new thing for me to balance out, i have yet to acclimate)
He vouched for me? ... I will have to reconsider my plans, how much $$$?
I don't know that he actually vouched per se.....Joe just said to "get the tickets...and we'll figure it out later".
Well....now it's later.....and Joe is noticeably silent......
...just kidding big guy.
I think Devin should man up and go out with his friend after the match. The Intl. Beer round we scored very well in, actually with 9 out of 10. Devin's memory is apparently fuzzy. We got 2nd in the Beer round.
Then we subsequently got killed in the "Rancid Music" round where the trivia chick read obscure lyrics from (in her opinion) the worst songs ever. Now... I know good music... but bad not so much. Only two correct answers during that round including "Mr. Roboto" by Styx.
That sounds like a vouch to me. If the ticket goes unused I would put the blame at joe's doorstep and suspend him.
Let me see what I can do. I think I can find a buyer for the ticket by noon.
Domo arigato, Jor-Dan Lo-Va-To

Jimbo.
Im going to commit to something beginning today. Top ten wednesdays
I will post a picture and a TopTen topic. Lodge members will then be able to post their top ten (Or more as the post goes on) in the comments.
Stay tuned for todays 1st top Ten
goose, your pun was much needed after failing the music round. you guys have fun with 2.0's replacement Duke, he won't have nearly the same star trek humor i do though.
Duke. lets be honest. Unless its an extremely hot stripper...anyone 2.0 brings will be a letdown after you.
you are da man
I can bring Ale...PBR okay or should I bring some St. Pauli?
I can also bring some buns for the braughts...
let me know...
Don't know for the sixth? what about the Duke?
Well, my brother Mike is in town from Kansas City for a 3-on-3 tourney that we are playing in this weekend... he brought me a Galatasaray jersey delivered from Turkey (they went to Europe in June/July)... thus the Galatasaray logo for today.
Let me get to the point... Mike is in as our sixth. See you at the pitch.
It's amazing how the ticket would be on Joe's head, he can find a sixth...
Way to go Joe!
Hey, I thought Devin or Casey would man up and join the ultimate Lodge outing... but now it's too late and another Dutchman is added to the mix. Devo & MCP might never find their nuts after this egregious slander of a Lodge sponsored event.
When this all originally went down, Train had explained it to me as a situation where there weren't any extra tickets, so I went and made other plans that night.
Then suddenly Monday afternoon he's telling me there are extra tickets.
I may normally flake out of a lot of lodge events, but I won't take the blame for this one.
Joe, I hate you even more with your Galatasary jersey.... Bow down to Fenerbache B!tch
I've got 37 already written down.
FYI
The buyer of the Seattle SuperSonics said Wednesday that remodeling Key Arena is not a workable option for the team.
Clay Bennett told a news conference he's looking for a site for a large scale arena-entertainment complex and he's been talking to people in Bellevue and Renton.
Bennett said he's also spoken with Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels and was scheduled to speak with Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire later in the day.
PS. I cut and pasted that directly from ESPN because I know that pisses Joe off.
so are the Flying Dutchmen going to be joing the pre-funk party on the West Hill?...if so, I want to hide my good china...
in the 253..."Fine china" means the extra strong Dixie plates with the 3 seperate sections.
Its all about class in the 253
I think Joe and his Bro are going to be eating downtown somewhere....and will meet up with us when we head down towards Seahawks Stadium.
I'll pick up the Brats then.....and some cream cheese. That's right bitches...CREAM CHEESE.
No, I have to work late & my brother is meeting me downtown for some grub before the game. Just give us a call when you are leaving West Seattle & we'll decide on a rendezvous point.
I should be over around 5.30 for the festivities.
Or proving that I don't have a car & have to work late... depending on your point of view I suppose.
Joe, you want to buy a truck?
Nope, I'm actually enjoying the extra money saved per month on insurance... budget friendly.
just checking... I'm glad Metro is working out for you. More people should use it.
PS. My mind has shifted from work to the game, not much procudtion here at Insurance world.
Train. When are you ever productive?
looks like weather is going to work out...I expect a Lodge worthy Play by Play tomorrow
Joe you should buy Jordan's truck...he never uses it...and that way nobody has to give you rides...everyone wins! It's goin' to be a great night at Seahawks stadium. Good times will be had by all!!!
I couldnt leave it at 49 comments.
Joe. You are an Ass
There....50
Typical.
