Vote 2006
Regionally, all these colors will mostly stay the same. Little indents may occur.(This post is put up strictly for criticism of the voting process and people who don't vote, not partisan issues.)
At least thats what Republicans would hope for. I got my Absentee Ballot in the mail a couple weeks ago. I filled it out that evening, dropped of my Netflix and the ballot together at the Post Office later. That simple. I don't know a whole lot about the issues, but I filled out the ballot quickly. Because I took a few minutes to read things online and make a few critical decisions. Its better to fill out your ballot earlier otherwise you get stuck in the last minute slander campaign from whatever candidate or initiative is blowing the last dollars on the tv and radio.
I'm sure at least 80% of the people I know don't vote. Really, its because people don't care about voting. The reasoning of working class or alternative peoples' is usually that - it doesn't matter. Does this make me mad? Not really, it used to. But the difficulty of the vote is low, you usually have two or three options on any given area of a ballot.
Also, the voting system is obsolete. The traditional method of voting by ballot in booths and in schools is not convenient to people's lives. Its one reason people have become distanced and estranged from the voting process. Our culture is too busy to accomodate using time and energy to go somewhere and fill out paper. Sad isn't it? Its true. Even the new digital voting booths are just new tires on an old car. Add to the new digitazation that the average age of a poll volunteer is 72 yrs old, most of whom do not have the technology experience of most elementary school children. This is not a recipe for better voting. Mobilizing excitement and enthusiasm for voting is laughable since its a lot easier to be cynical and bitchy than using time to be proactive in the system that the U.S. is based on for Democratic process.
I found out something interesting watching the news today. Votes are going to run very close in Democrat/Republican Senate races. (not news) The Senate is expected to go blue. BUT, in the event the Senate goes exactly 50/50, which is a possibility - the decision for majority rule will be given to Vice President Cheney. Hmmm, which way would he go? Thats just a little Constitutional trivia though.

Devo, are you registered to vote? I'm pretty disappointed that you don't vote, honestly. You care so much about your community that I'd think that you'd want to vote for those people, initiatives & propositions that plan, implement and shape local and state community.
uMMM,I DID VOTE. 2nd sentence "I got my Absentee Ballot...."
I think he stated in the top of this post that he dropped it off with his Netflix the night he got it, which is better than me dropping if off yesterday only to be used in case of a close vote...and it sounds like Duke is glued to MSNBC online like myself...this is really the last straw for gaining back trust in my fellow Americans...
It's hard when you live in one of the bluest counties in the entire nation to understand the otherside of the coin and oppose who I think are rational, intellegent, liberal canidates (Jim McDermott)...
The excuse about not voting and not having an impact on your life is frustrating to me, because it demonstrates a lack of concern for effecting change in your environment...if people can't see the relationship to political decisions and their own life then they're aren't paying attention...which is why I will be voting NO on the four-foot ban in strip clubs...
I just want to smoke within 10 feet of a door or window legally. Hello anal people, do you really want me to suffer in the rain and suffer with already pneumonia-prone lungs?
But, thats not an option this ballot.
and the irony being that the non-smokers will foot the hospital bill...
Sorry, I read your post wrong... got a little dyslexic there.
Did you guys see these brilliant political ads in Colorado with Tricky Dick Cheney? The creativity of marijuana smokers in the Rocky Mountains is astounding.

Train, that link doesn't appear to go anywhere...but this one does...not that there's anything wrong with that sort of thing...
and great ad by the good folks of CO...finally getting something right...
I'm still getting used the the linking stuff. Thanks for the fix.
It's to bad the woman is uber -tainted goods.
I gotta go vote tonight since King County F'd up and never sent me a absentee ballot. Though the county told me that I could still vote as much as I wanted... I thought that was cool.
You can become part of the infamous "provisional ballot". (Polls open until 8pm at most locations.) Your vote may very well come into play and decide the fate of a whole neighborhood train.
Here's a cute little play on political smear ads.
I hear they even let NPH vote provisional
Man, I never would have guessed that about the NPH.... Especially after Harold and Kumar.
exactly... NPH on Harold & Kumar was funny too. guess he's a good actor then.
When I was in California during the summer they had the most hardcore ads and it wasn't even real election time yet.
Francine Busby kills babies!!!
Juan Vargas shutdown 11 school free lunch programs, and then took all the food for himself...
Brian Bilbray dropped two toxic dumptrucks into Lake Tahoe with his bare hands!
Alright boys I just returned from my civic duty...Strip Club Support is what I am about
Unlike Joe, who in Sin City stated what will forever be the 2.0 battle cry "I dont pay for Tit"
I'm sure Mike! McGavick is going to be pissed he didn't copy some of those titles...alas he'll cry into his swimming pool filled with Gold Builion...

What kind of pool does Maria Cantwell swim in?
What did she make off of selling her shares in Real Networks again...?
Just kidding jim... She already has my vote...
King 5 did a great show last Sunday called "The truth bhind the ads"
It was pretty interesting.
"I dont pay for Tit"
LMAO ........ i wish i could make that my email signature on my corporate mail, but i can't.
"i don't pay for tit."
I'm sure Little G pays for it...!!
Even though I still personally don't pay for tit. I voted against Referendum 1 due to the removal of free speech rights that bills like Referendum 1 lead to.
Yeah, if a girl wants to express herself on my person.. She has that right!
"Train pays for tit." - Election 2006
(S.S.S. cuz they're hot)
It's the principle of telling others how they have to watch nekked ladies. The four foot rule and office lighting go way too far.
The lighting could be a good thing. It forces strip clubs to have only quality women (or hoes).
excellent point Duke: mark it...
How will ric's keep its motto...Hundreds of Beautiful women and two ugly ones
Its nice that a Political Post has the potential for a hat trick.
Midgets and Strippers bring out the Commentors....
although if you could do a post on a midget Stripper....We make break 100 comments.
Majority rules in this instance. Marjorie Galore and Apple Tasia need to retire anyways.
I once saw a Stripper in tucson named "Pantera".....
I cant even listen to a song by Pantera without seeing this Wildabeast dancing in front of me.
It was like seeing Squach in a Strip club as a dancer.
I tottally forgot, but our favorite Gubernatorial Candidate is being re-elected again. "If I lose de election, TO HELL WITH YOU CROM!!!" Scwarzenegger Governors' Blog
"I like the color red because it's a fire. And I see myself as always being on fire. And if you vote for me I'll put you on fire too!"
who is your governor and what does he do?...get in the choppa...now!!!...ahhhggghheeee...
Goose, you just made me laugh out loud in a meeting with the wildabeast/sasquatch comment. Holy crap, that was funny. Everybody wanted me to share what made me burst out too... but I declined, "Umm... I can't. Not appropriate."
Glad I could help 2.0
