Olbermann Back
NBC has gotten Keith Olbermann to return to sports for the first time in six years as co-host of the pregame show for NBC's Sunday night NFL telecasts. According to the report, Olbermann will join host Bob Costas and analysts Jerome Bettis, Tiki Barber and Peter King on NBC's "Football Night in America."
I'm not sure Costas can effectively co-host anything without trying to try and get unnecessarily deep with his quotes, and furthermore whether he'll "get" Olbermann... but it's a bold move nonetheless.
Of course, the bigger question of why NBC didn't get rid of Bettis after signing Tiki? That is the unsolved mystery. Somebody get Robert Stack on the job.
Seriously, did anybody like Bettis last year? Good moves by NBC though, following up ESPN's admitted mulligan demotion of Theismann on MNF with a high profile move themselves.

Head's up that KO has been on "The Big Show" for some time with D Patrick...and they primarily talk about about Sport...I agree it's a good move, but why would you have Costas and KO?
Yes, I knew that... but back on TV sports was the key ingredient. Every once in a while, I'll catch a replay of "The Big Show" online in the afternoon.
2 anchors just seems like a lot. But maybe they'll make the studio-show even better. I liked it last year (besides Bettis, of course) well enough.
