Retro Crap Wednesday
So adding to the Voltron/Gary Gnu posts of the last few weeks. I thought I'd add a little tidbit of one of my favorite shows growing up. Yes the acting was horrible, yes the graphics were crap, yes they had weird Sleestaks and a creepy Mini-Chewbacca like cave people called Pakuni.
But as a kid, Land of the Lost Simply was the best show on Saturday mornings
And yes...we all know that Bill Lambier was a sleestak.
You may not have known (well everyone except MCP) that in April 2005, Universal Pictures acquired the rights to adapt the TV series into a feature film. The studio attached director Adam McKay and actor Will Ferrell, who had previously collaborated on Anchorman (2004), to the project.
