Prisoners Breakdown Thriller
1. 80's Michael Jackson could have brought about world peace.
2. Thriller is and always will be the best pop dance track of the 80's.
3. We can spot who drops the soap in jail on purpose.
4. Modern Michael Jackson would probably have a really good time in jail.
5. Pink Floyd still under-represented in popular media.

The routine is the brainchild of Byron Garcia, a security consultant for the Cebu provincial government.
He said it had helped "drastically" improve inmate behaviour.
And two former inmates have since become dancers.
'Discipline in action'
The dancing is compulsory for all 1,600 inmates at the prison in the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Centre, except the elderly and infirm.
Prisoners have also performed to songs by local artists, Queen and from the film Sister Act, clips of which have been watched on YouTube tens of thousands of times.
"Inmates say to me: 'You have put my mind off revenge, foolishness, or thinking how to escape from jail, or joining a gang'," he said.
The routines developed last year after Mr Garcia started making inmates march to music, such as Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall, in a bid to increase participation in exercise.
...
Other early choices included In the Navy and YMCA by the Village People, which were chosen so that macho inmates "wouldn't be offended by being asked to dance".

Didn't you post this in a comments a couple of weeks back? Old news, Devo.
How are the pre-marital counseling and birthing classes going for you? Did you see Knocked Up to prepare. If not, you should. Not including the unintentional comedy of Michael Bay films, easily the funniest movie I've seen in the theater since Anchorman.
new news for the lodge joe. i emailed this to certain people last month. but forgot to post it.
Ironically, i am watching knocked up right now -- and have marriage lessons tonight. birthing classes usually shouldn't be taken until its close to delivery time which is about 4mths away.
Marriage Counselling Ideas that 'sound really good' or 'sound really awkward'
1. Hearing that their problem is really your problem.
2. When you discuss a problem with your spouse you need to agree on ground rules, or as i like to call it "parlay".
3. When a counsellor talks to you about your orgasming.
4. As adults you can give yourself a 'time-out'.
5. Realizing you need to learn what your spouses' values are and not just your own values.
6. Telling somebody else the top reasons why you love "____".
7. Making the list of top reasons why you love "____".
8. Being close or physical before you start what you know is going to be an argument is a good idea.
Overall, i think everybody should have some kind of communication or deep breakdown session with their other before getting marriage. Worth every agonizing moment.
Oh yea, and have you guys ever been to the OBGYN w/your significant other.
again, "awkward".
I agree about the pre-marriage breakdown session. Even though you 'think' you are on the same page.....it's certainly a good idea to go ahead and make sure of it.
Awkward at times...but worth every minute near as I can tell....but I'm still a rookie...
I’m all for the pre marriage counseling. I learned a lot. Even though my marriage didn’t work out, I know it help me in other ways. You learn a lot about yourself. Ok, enough of that.
Toulouse FC will be the Lodge team of the day…
There’s nothing better than reading that a guy named Nacho Novo scored the game winner for Rangers today. If only Taco Wallace could find his way to Scotland.
Hopefully Toulouse FC will be the Lodge team of tomorrow, eh?
Yes, Shawn that's what I meant.
Apparently my father-in-law has set the bar really low for me and told me the 'lifetime commitment' of marriage as good enough if i last 10 yrs. If we stop at 5yrs its my fault and if we stop at 8yrs its her fault, but after 10yrs -- its a touchdown -- game over > disneyland.
Trips to the OBGYN...hmmm......Duke I hate to break this to you, but you better make sure your "Wierd Sh!t-o-meter" is working well because what you are about to witness in the fraternity of Fatherhood will rank in the 9's and 10's.
FYI, just got back from Wash DC (Not much to post) however if you ever get a chance, head to the Dancing Crab for their Crab Feast...amazing

I think the Lodge only gets rollin' on Friday's....But I still want my Pitch Talk Thursday.
I'll be at the Lodge tonight to discuss pitch talk in person. Jim and I will be BBQ'ing... anyone else down?

I'm down...I'll bring the Manischewitz
I'll wander over...
Jimbo....did you just say that you were down for a BBQ that Joe is having at your house?
We already talked about it 3 days ago... I'm just letting everyone know we are gathering. Jeez, Shawn "Sounder Lova" Scott.
My bad...I wasn't part of the conversation 3 days ago.
Joe, do you spell Douchebag with a 'ch' or 'sh'?
I think it's just spelt with a J,O and E...
Doujoebag?
Can we get a new lodge banner/pic commemorating Michael Vick's guilty plea?
Done....sorry for the delay today....
