76 Hours until the Collective Consciousness Explodes
*Just wanted to get things in line for this weekend, now that Train has bowed out of the physically attending the game(which I think is the best thing, in order for him to devote his full attention to the "Orange Crush") so Dude and I'm guessing C-Town Chone will be the two Lodge Representative’s at the Game...
*Everyone that reads, comments or posts on this blog is welcome to attend...only condition is that you have to contribute to the Lodge's Alcohol supply...we should have some Hold 'Em going all day...2.0 I'm going to let you call the in'$ for the game and how we're setting up and finally I'm working on drying up the remaining water that seeped into the viewing room's carpet
*I'd like to draw attention to local issue that I feel the Lodge needs to get behind and support, you can read more about it here . I'd like to say a few things about this particular issue(I might end up sending this to the Times):
My feeling, unlike the Seattle Community Access Network that this issue represents a loss of innocence for the entire community of Western Washington. In a time of increasing sexual, political and moral repression, very few social icons have quite represented the coming of age of a young man (or woman) like the process of discovering free porn on Public Access Television. Producer Mike Aivaz for the show the "Mike Hunt TV" should not be looked on as a corrupter of communication airwaves, but as a liberator to young men (and women) across Western Washington. What sort of message are we sending to the children of today when we tell them that women dressed in full leather and handing out the whipping of a lifetime to some poor soul isn't God's very own design?
Love comes in many forms Seattle Community Access Network. Are you attempting to recreate the 1964 debate on "obscenity" that found its way to the Supreme Court in the famous Miller vs. California case, (read more about obscenity in the courts: here ) where then Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart gave the famous line: "I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced . . . but I know it when I see it . . ." Well, trust that I know good porn when I see it, and while I will defend Mr. Hunt's cause and TV program, trust that in no way does he represent quality porn and this is the way that it ought to be. Free porn, should not be good porn, especially on a station wedged between CSPAN and ESPN (the exception to this, as with everything is of course: the internets), but this is what the youth of today need to learn and understand. We can not attempt to throw them out in the world without first refining there tastes in what is deemed quality in the world of adult entertainment. I view this not only as an injustice to mankind's future, but a crime punishable of a half an hour with Zed and the Gimp.
At some point we must stop condemning revolutionaries such as Mr. Aivaz and allow them to continue their art unmolested from the supposed "moral conscience". We sacrifice a disconnection from man's instinctual purpose by exterminating programs such as "Mike Hunt TV" and I urge anyone to convince me that the absence of these programs morally elevates society. Innocence behaves like a living creature, once that creature is extinct, you can not recapture it, (unless of course that innocence was captured by a mosquito and frozen in tree sap for several hundred thousand years and then genetically used to make a new breed of innocence...wait, what?). Please join me in granting a moment of Lodge silence for the loss of innocence over the airwaves of Western Washington Public Access, may your signal never dim "Mike Hunt TV".

I will be there and bring the chips & table for the Texas Hold 'Em. Since Jimbo said it's my call, we'll only play for $5.00 per game so we can all afford to play 2 to 3 games throughout the day.

On the porn story, which I also read in the paper yesterday. I'm more shocked that a supposed "liberal" city like Seattle would be against the free porn show at 1 a.m. in the mornings. Of course, it's the same city that almost helped vote the Evil Empire's own Dino Rossi (R) in as Washington's next Governor.
Hey...until they completely take it off the air...Mike Hunt TV will still be on Public access...This debate rambles on at least once a year and the guy is still there.
As for what Chewy would do...I think he would rip off some Public Access Programmers arm before takin' this show off the air...Just my thought...
as for this story...I think it's just Public Access' way of blowin' off steam and sayin' they are publicly against the show...but when it's hand over fist...it's a speech issue...and it's on at 1 in the morning...if some innocent kid stumbles on it...the question should be why is that kid up at 1 or what kind of parenting skills does that kid have in their life...worst outcome...Mom and Pa are goin' to be talkin' about the birds and bees a little earlier than expected....
I say the show should stay but there are a lot of repressed people in this city...
Dude...spoken like a true fan...and Dino Rossi is Evil...really evil...I mean like, uber-evil...but hey, he comes from the plateau so he can't be that bad right?....
