So I was at Todai eating sushi when this happened. They had the game on TV, although only a few people were actually paying attention...
...anyway, when he took that hit at the 2 yard line, without thinking I yelled out "BAM!" causing half of the people eating to jump up like I was about rob the place....'twas a thing of beauty.

Every game this past weekend was not just a good game, but a great one. The NFL scored this past weekend, I'll tell you what. I pretty much just said that so I could get in a "I'll tell you what" like your Grandpa used to spit when reminiscing about past glory. Good times.

Just remember to replace the QB with his hands on his helmet with Snake next week ok?...Big Ben's coming...and hell's coming with him!!!

Train...I'm giving you this...your team played a hell of a game...great D...made the plays when it counted, didn't give NE anything, great job...but to think that I won't be rooting for Big Ben and Troy's Flowing Locks well..."your crazy man...I like you, but your crazy man"...let's take the Bus out in style!!!...god I can't wait for this weekend...

the Pitt, Den game is going to be a great one and I wouldn't expect you to root for the Co's its just not your style that's what makes the Lodge great.
I am 50/50 on the game this Sunday. I might have a ticket for the game.
Sorry man...I just have got a feeling the Bronco's aren't going to pull it off.
On Saturday I didn't see Denver beat New England. I saw New England beat themselves...and quite frankly, if the Steelers can beat up the Colts that effectively I have a hard time not at least giving them consideration.
I saw a team play great D and force turnovers when they counted. Thats what wins you games Special Teams and turnovers. It was a clash of two great teams playing very high. The broncos got the best of the Pats. Do I feel lucky yes.. and sometimes you need luck to win.
Next Sunday will have two EPIC games. I just know the Broncos will find a way to win it. Will it be close yes.. Will I be the only one rooting for them yes. I LOVE IT...
I smell an all-day event at the Lodge, complete with Hold Em (Good call, Jimbo. And I'll bring the chips). What time will the Big-E let us come over? Man, this is exciting.
Not sure when the game one is...probably a half-an-hour before that though...
We got the Steel Curtain vs. the Orange Crush at high noon followed up by the Hawks vs. Steve Smith at 3:30pm....
