it is a kool pic...and it's what we've come to expect from the MCP...btw...how was f'n XMen dork-boy?...you miss a Lodge-outing for a major blockbuster and no review?...let me guess, you're going to piggyback it on your Comicon post?
i already expressed my feelings on superman to two of the lodge people at the grill meet. i would rather not see the superman movie, or instead I would prefer a movie continuation from the smallville series which is great. keeps it different, not really remaking the original. i like the alternate take, and i think it would be far more popular since smallville is a lot more mainstream other shows.
oh yea, i'll probably see you at the da vinci code screening tomorrow night. passes rule. and i don't have to pay for something that might leave a bad taste in my mouth.
The X-men thing was my bad... I thought jayne was going to see it on monday but I guess it is next monday... Hey, so why did you miss the BBQ on Monday then...
fun trivia Johnny Depp was considered for the roles of Lex Luthor and Jor-El.
Jude Law was Bryan Singer's only choice to play General Zod. After Law turned down the role several times, Singer eliminated the character from the script.
James Caviezel expressed great interest in the role of Superman, but director Bryan Singer refused to cast him because he felt that Caviezel was "too famous" after starring in The Passion of the Christ.
Anthony Hopkins was set to play Jor-El of Krypton, but after Ratner left, Hopkins did the same.
Scarlett Johansson for Lois Lane, dammit that woulda been sweet.
Kevin Smith's original script, to which Tim Burton was immediately attached, was based on D.C. Comics' 1993 series in which Superman was killed by a creature named Doomsday and then brought back to life more powerful than before.
Tim Burton's "Superman Lives" was far enough into pre-production at the time it was canceled that the studio had already designed a teaser poster to be displayed in theatres. It consisted of a stylized silver "S" shield set against a black background

Homer: The important thing is.. it's got the perfect part for you.. either one of you. It's about a killer robot driving instructor, who travels back in time for some reason. Ron Howard's attatched to direct! Ron: I am not! Homer: Well. He expressed an interest. Ron: No I didn't! Homer: Did too!
Wow. Overstatement of the year comparing Spielberg to Howard the Duck. Train, you have to take that back. You could say some of his films like The Terminal, A.I. and War of the Worlds were crap... but the majority of his directoral body of work is pretty top notch... and yet Train throws him under a bus because of a couple of Tom Cruise flicks.

I need a little more production out of my #1.
Maybe just a little commentary or a fun fact about the movie, something more then just a sceen shot. This is a sugestion my friend.
Becasue if we want someone who just posts pictures we can hire Johnny Chimpo to do that.
Love yah buddy
Sorry Train...I was busy working.
I didn't think you'd recognize it...

Or how about just copy/paste a movie poster of X3. That's par for the TP.
I don't have X-Men until next Monday...early reviews don't look good though.
Speaking of not looking good, I'm off to a screening of Da Vinci code tomorrow...early word on that is HORRIBLE

Sweet, then I can't wait for a picture of Tom Hanks with long hair and a TP caption of "Ron Howard's Biatch".
That's so not what i want to hear. i am a huge Da Vinci fan. I am holding out for a great movie.
it'd be awesome to see Ron Howard direct the "30 Odd Foot of Grunts" rockumentary w/ Hanks narrarating...
Lets be Honest though... Does Ron Howard make a Bad Movie?

Night Shift was a classic - Keaton at his best...
Gung Ho - nice call Jimmy, this movie is so vastly underrated it is not even funny. Again another Keaton movie
Opie Cunningham does have a few misses but overall he is just like Spielberg.. Hit and Miss

Plus, name one Howard epic film. That Spielberg comparison friggin damaged your credibility in my eyes, Train. Unbelievable.
I for one am looking forward to Da Vinci. As for Ron howard.
I liked Apollo 13, Cinderella Man.
Dont be dissing on Night Shift and Gung Ho. Those were classics
How about the HBO "From the Earth to the Moon?"
He's an accomplished Director. He's no Spielberg, Coppola or Scorsese, but he is accomplished.
Dont forget Coppola made Jeepers Creepers. Mistakes and bad choices do happen

Coppola PRODUCED Jeepers Creepers...that's TOTALLY different.
Don't try and defend yourself, Train. You can't say that Howard is at Spielberg's level and get away with it.
Tucker, Peggy Sue got Married, Jack. Dont be so anal Dork Boy. Is that better? The point is still the same
I do agree Copolla has severly fallen from Grace...
that's what happens when you owe money all over town, you have a 5th grade class tell you to make the Outsiders...
