Who doesn't love mugshots?
Seriously. I know we talked about this a little already. But wow... if my name was J.J. Redick, and I was going to possibly be a Top-10 first-round pick in a week, I'm not sure I'd be driving drunk a week before the NBA Draft. Like I said before, at least the Sonics will think again before making their umpteenth draft blunder in drafting a mediocre SG with their lottery pick. Of course, with Wally still at the helm, anything could happen.
The arena issue is still looming for Seattle also. Apparently Stern is still pissed... although I'd like to see him use some real threats, just for drama's sake. Have Stern go Godfather on Mayor Nichols or something. Apparently 78 percent of Seattle residents don't want to pay taxes for a new basketball arena. Not sure I can disagree. The bottom line is that the Sonics blew it by not lobbying for a new arena before they didn't pony up for Mac-10's contract extension when they were winning.

Also, I forgot to write this, but I friggin hope that the Sonics take Redick's teammate in Sheldon Williams with their pick. Williams can play the 4 and guard the 5 in the NBA with his size. He's a rebounder and shot-blocker first, but is able around the basket and has a decent mid-range shot. Think Carlos Boozer without the bad-knees & poor Alaskan-native attitude that Boozer now has.
I don't know when in all the mock drafts Reddick moved ahead of Williams, but if the supes pass on Williams (if he's there) the front office should be replaced with the Green and Gold section of the Lodge...now for the Red and Black's 3 hours south...I like the idea of Morrison for no other reasons than putting butts in the seats and the first NBA jersey I'd purchase since #22 was was gliding around Memorial Coliseum
Moorison would be a no-brainer. Do you think'll he'll slip all the way to Number 10?
I've heard rumors of portland/toronto trade talk with Morrison going #1
Goose has his ear in the rumor mill... I like it.
Are you insulting Alaskans now, 2.0?
Leave it to 2.0 to beat an issue to the ground. Joe...Jimbo was refering to P-town...
I think the arena issue is important...but don't weigh the who thing on Mac 10...there were issues before he left and don't think it would be any better if Mac was still here. It's all about money which they still wouldn't have gotten if Mac was here...it's about getting money from the suites...which the city is taking.
Also...if you posted it...at least edit your post to include your orginal thought...how hard is it to reload your original post and add it...
Yes, Kennish. I was. Bring it on, whitey.
Just cuz you can't take your wife...don't take it out on my girlfriend...
Umm... okay, Dude who won't join Lodge events like BBQ's to go out with his girlfriend for cocktails... that's right.
Gotcha!
