The Husky Football Experience
So tomorrow after living in Seattle since 1995 I will be attending my 1st Husky Football game. And dont call me a bandwagon fan. My reasoning is for 10 years, I like Ty W have coached every Saturday in the fall. I will be taking the Gosslings to the 206 with me and need to know all the rules of the road from the experienced "Dawgs"
Where does a Lodge man meet fellow Lodge mates for a Brew and a Dog in the parking lot? I need the best place for a Lodge man to Tailgate
Tips on Husky game ethics or traditions?
Rules for Pulling down the goalposts while carrying a 2 and 5 year old?
All these things are of importance to me as I raise two boys who will learn good and bad things from Jimbo as he teaches them his pearl of Wisdom...."You never forget your 1st time"
GO DAWGS!!!! (
(I'd color it Purple or Gold howver 2.0 needs to adapt his HTML post to include how to code in color)

Nice...this might be the moment that one of the Gosslings mentions in their letter of acceptance speech...
"I remember going to Husky Stadium when I was (2 or 5) w/ my Dad and my crazy Uncle Jimbo and now I'm proud to that I will be apart of the Purple and Gold Tradition..."
Feel free to copy that if you want, here's a breakdown of what to expect:
1--Pops and I usually set up camp between 9-930 in Parking lot E1 (the really big one to the North of the Stadium) are exact location varies, but we generally stay in closer to the RV's(I'll have the cell working, just give me a call)
2--Parking really depends...I think you can park further down E1 for like $10, which is probably the best deal
3--Bring whatever you want, but I can guarantee you that we'll probably have enough
4--Ethics: as a fan you must bring it on all third downs for the defense, but I don't need to tell you that...get the cap waive down on kickoffs...look for Captain Husky in the third quarter...you must say:"Suit 'em up" after the Husky Legend Presentation at the end of the third quarter...everything else will flow naturally...
I think that covers everything..and remember the new motto of Husky Football...win or lose we booze...
I love it. The kids are very excited. I figure Im going to head down a little early and give them the full tailgating experience.
That is one relative every Football Child needs..."Crazy Uncle Jimbo"
PS. I thinks Dude's Hockey post below is destined for No-no Status
we'll see...his quarterly posts need to be supported
in Seattle, if your kids want to try beer and you're willing to let them sip on it like little men - be wary of overprotective bystanders who will try to dictate how you treat your children and call CPS on you.
and those people clearly represent Satan...
