He was 1-2 with an 8.68 ERA in 27 starts before season-ending surgery on his pitching elbow on July 18.You just got the guy the other team didn't want so they traded for Soriano. Huh? Is there anybody with a pulse still operating down at Safeco?

San Francisco's is pretty bad...and there's a lot of decently bad ones...but no one consistently makes the choices that this guy does...I can say without hesitation that I now assume that Bavasi will make the incorrect move 100 times out of 100...in a world of very few certanties...we have found one
