Goose on the Road in Sin City
Wont be able to post much tomorrow or Thursday.
Mother Goose will be off to Sin City for two days of "Work"
This will be my 1st official "Goose on the Road, Stories and thoughts from other Area Codes". I will be keeping a journal of activites and will have a camera for pictures. I will hopefully post on Friday.
Its always nice to get two days at the Venetian on the company $$$
Things that will not happen
1) I will not forget my ID before going to a gentlemans club
2) I will not play 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon
3) I will not forget the rules of blackjack (Always split on Aces and Eights)
4) I will not drink like Nick Cage. However I will think of him often.
5) I will not see an XFL game for obvious reasons
Things that will Happen
1) I will remember at all times that I represent the Lodge, The Ateam, and the 253/206. I will therefore be placing a Super Bowl bet while I am there. Not Sure what the odds are, but there will be a bet placed before Saturdays game. If you would like a bet placed, let me know ASAP.
2) I will give someone at work the nickname of "DoubleDown" when he makes a stupid bet
3) I will think at least a dozen times "Man, we should take the lodge on the road"

Sweet. I can't wait for the stories and picks come Friday. As far as bets, if you get to Vegas and into a SportsBook before 7PM PST, please place a $10.00 bet on the Seattle Sonics to defeat the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night in the NBA (whatever the point spread, I'll take the Sonics to win and cover).

that might just be the lamest bet I've heard in a while...
here's one Goose...can you put an even $200 down on the Storm to win their 2nd championship in three years!!!!...you won't be laughing come whenever they finish their season
...before the Lodge gets back to Vegas I'm going to have to work on my chops at the BlackJack and Hold 'Em Tables...oh yeah and get some capital to work with...
