The Lodges Favorite Wolverine.

In honor of JR Hasty's 1st pic on the lodge. I thought I would toss up a few photos of some of the men who had a brief impact on him

Ladies and gentlemen. I give you the coaching staff of the 2001 Newport Knights.

Far and away my fondest memories as a coach were from that season. Highs and lows. One day gentlmen. We will roam the sidelines again

punishing runner in the Junior ranks that hasn't changed much...I'd love to see him become the first 1000 yard Husky back in almost 10 years...may not be this year...but it's in the mail

You guys see him as a Corey Dillon type impact player or Napolean Kaufman scat-back? I haven't seen how he's developed or what kind of player. Give me the coaches breakdown of JR Hasty's game.

He’s a shifty running back that runs well between the tackles.

He shows a good way of running, finding seams, and accelerating through lanes that you can't teach. A tough, durable back. JR is the one you count on for those hard three yards. Basically the kid likes to plow over people and make them pay. He will not shy away from contact. I remember him loving to deliver the hit not absorb it.

he's definitely more Dillon than Kaufman (haven't seen a whole lot of back that were's able to run with the football at Carl Lewis speed)...he's going to be a good force for the Dawgs inside the five...if you look at his BHS stats...he broke the State record for TDs's...and considering I have to use two hands to count the number of James Simms fumbles inside the ten last year...Hasty has a good chance to see the endzone this year...

CB Ty Law is scheduled to visit the Seahawks next week, according to the Boston Globe.

Would ya'll like Seattle bringing the veteran defensive back to the NorthWest for another title run?

He is not a scat back. He is more in the mold of an Emmitt Smith or Corey Dillon. Decent speed, but strong through the middle. Great balance. Good heart. Runs well in the 1-6 holes. Not a prototype sweep or option back. Ran FB in the Wing T. Perfect on the strech play or in the 3-4 hole off tackle.

He can break the long run. And get you the tough yards.

I think he will go down as the greatest back in Husky history, and we will see him play on Sundays. Im a little biased, but JR has never failed.

I'll be the 1st in line this year to get a #24 Jersey. Dont be surprised to see Goose on several Saturdays this year (Maybe even all of them)

Nice.....my mom bought football tix this year since she just moved back from AZ. She asked me ahead of time if she should get them because she would need someone to go with her most of the time.....so I'll be down on Montlake on more than one occasion this year as well.
