Its not Orange
I'm just really sprung on these guys. I'd heard crazy before on the radio. But I dl'ed the full album of St. Elsewhere the other day. Even the concept of St. Elsewhere is out there. Much like Jimbo's recommended relistening of the Gorillaz, Danger Mouse puts it out again and Ceelo is belts through nowhere like a bat from heaven.
For you LOST fans: the pilots' dream
I'm going to give these guys my money and officially buy the album.

The great this is that "Crazy" isn't even the best track on the album. I'd give that nod to "Just A Thought"... Danger Mouse is on display on the cut & the lyrics are raw around the topic of depression.
Some parts of it sound like Blackalicious, especially Feng Shui, other parts of it drop into Groove Armada, and then other parts just get rowdy like some hell-bent blues record. Smiley Faces really brings that funk I love the most though.
There's not enough mic skills to even compare Gnarls Barkley to the likes of Blackalicious. Don't go there. The funk is good, but Blackalicious uses the right amount of mic-play and rhyme skills to overshadow Ceelo.
Of course blackalicious is in a different place. The sound is similar in some areas, ceelo brings the soul flavor on that croon in away that licious can't reach in you though. Are the dutch always this testy?
hey...I don't buy albums...but, I'm hella (that's right I dropped it) interested in this one...if someone would like to give a po' West Side kid a break and allow some transferring...well, let's just say I'll give you my other chocolate frosted pop-tart...
